Unforgettable Truth

Here's my second story ever in the forums! By the way, I realize that there isn't a summary.
I'm not going to post one in order to not give too much away about what's going to happen in the story.
Last names also won't be used in this story.
This was originally going to be a one shot story, but I decided the idea of this was
much too good to be such a short story. I decided long would be the best for this story.
I'm working on chapter one. I'll post it as soon as I can.

Lepethie

I've always tried to live a normal life. When something strange or
frightening happens, I try my best to just go with the flow,
but sometime, that's nearly impossible.









Mileana

I'm 14. My favorite color is green. The one thing I like most
in life is plants. Flowers are beautiful. Flowers are my life.
I could never stand to see a flower destroyed in a way that is terribly pointless.
I like to spend my time being outside drawing my ideas of new plants that I merely wish existed.









Yimory

I'm a 14 year old girl. I'm an awesome swimmer. I have a pool in my
backyard. I truly believe that water is what's most important on Earth,
because if there was no water, there wouldn't be anymore life.
I love it when people are able to see the world the way I do.

Chapter 1 An awful storm

Hello. I'm Lepethie, a 14 year old girl with long black hair. I'd always thought
I was normal, that nothing strange ever happened where I live, but I was so wrong.
My neighborhood seems normal, but it isn't. I thought I was safe here, but I'm not.
All of the strange happenings always started on the most ordinary of days.

Today was Friday, so I'm just now getting home from school.
It's nearly time for spring break! I can't wait to get away from school for a while!
I do go to a good school. The problem is I don't have friends there because
I'm so shy around new people. The other problem would be the fact that I have
so much homework to do there. I do the homework, but what do I get? A headache!
I hate headaches!

I had to walk home since my mom couldn't pick me up, she had to run some errands,
at least, that's what she told me. I don't have a dad, he died in a car accident when I was very young.
Somebody else hit his car and... that was the end of him. As I walked on the path that led to
my neighborhood I noticed all the dark clouds that were coming near. The clouds looked
awfully dark. The wind started to pick up a bit from how it was before.
It was going to be such a peaceful walk home until I'd seen the clouds.

While I walked I noticed several flashes of lightning. I was very far from my
neighborhood, so I was kind of freaking out.
I began to run as fast as I could on the path to my neighborhood.
It was already beginning to drip.

While I was running there was a huge amount of lightning going on around me.
After running for a few minutes with the clouds drawing near,
there was a sudden blast of really loud thunder. It was like a terrible crackling sound
that scared me. I fell on the path. I looked down at my knees. They were bleeding a bit, mostly just scraped.
It didn't matter.

I got up and began running again. After a while, I made it to my house.
From the house next to mine was a moving truck. It looked like I would have some new neighbors,
I guess that's good. I ran inside to the bathroom and dabbed my wounds with a wet cloth.
After that, I bandaged them and went to my garage to see what's going on with the weather.

It was looking sort of dark for this time. The clouds were making it dark.
The rain was really coming down hard now. I closed the garage door and went inside.
Poor unlucky new neighbors. What an awful time it is for them to get to their new house.
This sure was an awful storm.

Later that night my mom got home while I was
in the living room watching an anime show that I love. "Hi mom!" I said as I gave her a hug.
"I sweetie! How was your day today? I know there was a big storm and that I couldn't go to pick you up"
She glanced down at my bandages that were all over my knees. "Why Lepethie! You tripped!"
"It's no problem," I said. "They're just scrapes after all. Hey, guess what!" "What?"
"We're getting new next door neighbors!" I exclaimed joyfully with a grin.

"That's good," my mom said absentmindedly. Since that annoyed me, I went
to my room and changed into my orange nightgown. It wasn't very late, so I made
some popcorn and went back to watching the anime show.
When I got done eating, I went straight to bed.

I had some trouble sleeping. I was really excited about having new neighbors.
It's a good thing the harsh weather stopped, or else I may have had worse trouble getting to sleep.

I'll post the next chapter as soon as I can! I've thought of some really good ideas for what
will happen next.

Chapter 2 Late night fright

Wha...? W.. where am I...? I couldn't see anything... just darkness...everywhere.
"Run... run away," I could hear someone saying. "Please leave.. and never come back."
"Where am I?" I asked. Silence. Then I heard more voices.  
"Run"
"it's not safe here"  
"Leave me alone."
"Don't run away..."
"Never let them catch you!"
"Please! Get away from here!"

All the voices seemed to be making me dizzy.
Everything around me was spinning.
Suddenly I fell on the ground in my dream and woke up.  
 
I opened my eyes. That must be one of the worst dreams I've ever had!.
I sat up on my bed and looked out the window.
It wasn't daylight out yet. I got up and looked at my clock on the wall.
It was only 5:50am.

I'm so hungry! I got up and made my way to the kitchen to get something to eat.
I got myself a bowl of cookies and sat down to eat. I was in the kitchen near a window
from which I could see outside with. After eating for a minute, I got up holding my cookies in hand
and walked over to the window. I watched the stars twinkle in the night.
They were so beautiful. I watched the stars for a few minutes, but then suddenly  
stopped eating. What made me stop eating was amazing. I saw some kind of  
light go by in the sky that my friends would never believe. Instantly,
I opened the front door and ran outside wearing my beautiful white nightgown which clashed with my black hair.

I looked around, but couldn't see the light anymore. That was so strange, I thought.
Since it rained yesterday, it was pretty cold outside. Since I was getting cold,
I began walking back to the front door when something ran by my feet.

I just barely noticed it. I made my way to the door without really paying any mind to it.
I opened the door. I yelped when I saw something suddenly run in near my feet.
It was a rat! It was so furry and ugly looking. I ran to the garage and got a broom.
I opened the front door and, as if I were playing golf, I hit that sucker with the broom and it ran back outside.
I closed and locked the door, put up the broom, and went back to bed with my cookies to eat.
Since it was so early, I decided to stay in bed to rest at least until seven.

Chapter 3 Saturday, May 20th, part 1
The sun had risen while the shadows all moved.
It was a beautiful morning.
I just woke up. I looked over at the time on my phone, only ten.........ten.....TEN?!
I have to get up! I got out of bed and put a purple outfit. A purple skirt and a purple tank top.
Today is a beautiful Saturday morning. It's May 20th. Right now it's Spring Break.
On each day I'll try to have as much fun as possible before I have to go back to school.

I went to the kitchen and looked for something I could have for breakfast.
My mom wasn't home, I guess she was going shopping or something.
I made myself scrambled eggs and toast. After that, I ate some cookies and went to brush my teeth.
After that, I got my tennis shoes on and went outside.

I looked across the street at the house where the new neighbors live.
I could see two girls around my age, probably, playing outside in their front yard.
They were both wearing pretty bikinis.
I sat down in the grass and watched them play.
A girl with blond hair that had flowers sticking out of it was running away
from the water that was coming from the hose that a girl with blue hair was holding.

They both seemed to be enjoying themselves, unlike me.
I was lonely. I'm such a klutz that nobody at my school ever wants to be around me.
The last time I tried to make a friend at school I spilled water all over her outfit
and got yelled at.

Across the street, the girl with blond hair waved at me, right before she got sprayed
with the hose and screamed.

Since it seemed like they were having so much fun,
I got up and walked over there to meet them.
The girl with the blond hair was so busy trying to get the hose from the girl with the blue hair
that neither of them notice me coming when suddenly, I got sprayed with the hose.

"HEY!" I yelled, "You sprayed my outfit!" The girl with the blue hair looked at me and giggled as
the girl with the blond hair ran over to me.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" The girl with the blond hair apologized.

Chapter 3 Saturday, May 20th part 2
I looked at the girl for a few seconds with a disgusted look on my face,
then I slowly lowered my eyes to look down at my outfit. It was dripping wet.
I won't know why something like this should happen to me.
I haven't done anything wrong, so, WHY MEEE?! "Look at what you've done!" I yelled at them.
The blond haired girl look nervously at me and began trying to sputter something that I couldn't understand.
I looked at the girl with the hose, which by the way was STILL TURNED ON!!

I ran up to her, grabbed the hose, and sprayed it at HER! Since she was
already wet, the water didn't really make her look any different. Dammit!
She looked at me with a twisted, evil looking smile. "Do you really think I'll leave this on?!" I asked
sarcastically while pointing at the hose. I began to walk away back to my house. Doing that felt GREAT!


I wasn't even out of their yard yet when it happened. My eyes were wide with horror of what just happened.
SHE SPRAYED ME AGAIN?! And this time.....ON PURPOSE!!!! I looked back. She was holding
the hose with running water and smiling at me. She apparently was proud of what she'd done.
I looked to the other girl. She seemed to be shocked.

She held her hand across her mouth as if
she didn't know what to say now. My eyes began to fill with tears. I really loved my outfit
and hated when people treated me this way. I was walking home beginning to sniff when I
felt someone grab my hand from behind. I got scared and jerked away without knowing
who'd done it. I turned around and saw that it was the nice girl.

She seemed to be very upset, and I don't think she understood why I took my hand away.
"Look, I'm really sorry abo...."
"Don't be! It's THAT rotten girls fault anyway!" I exclaimed pointing at the
jerk of which I hated.
"Please! I'm sorry! she exclaimed, "I didn't mean for this to happen!"
I was really shivering hard now. It was very warm outside....but still.....I was shivering so badly.
To my dismay, she didn't seem to notice my shivering.

"I know my sister was wrong for spraying you, and you have all the right to be angry with her,
but all I want is for us to get along!"
Now I could hardly hear her. "I know there's nn......"
I couldn't hear anything now. I was SO COLD!!
I didn't know what was happening. It was all so sudden.
Everything around me started spinning......things got blurry......I lost my balance.....and then blacked out.


End of chapter 3

Chapter 4 The darkness
Uhhhh.......what happened? Where am I? I was lying in the grass on a beautiful night
with the moon shinning brightly. It was SOO BEAUTIFUL!! I sat up in the grass. I was alone.
It was so quiet. I wonder how I got here. I didn't recognize this place at all.
The only light was the moonlight. All the street lights were out for some reason.

I sat up. I looked around, but couldn't really see anything.
I looked down and couldn't see the ground nor myself.
What is going on? I don't think it's that dark out, so why can't I see myself?
I began walking into the darkness when I felt that someone or something was watching me.
I felt a chill up my spine. I looked back, nobody was there. What is this place?
All the stars were red and the moon was red as well. I ran into the street and ran, I ran as fast as I could.
All of a sudden the houses started vanishing and the street turned into a giant field.
It didn't feel like I was getting tired with all this runnning. It felt like I'd been going like this for an hour now.
Suddenly everything started shaking as if the was an earthquake and I fell down.

Oh!! My head!! I moved my hand up to my fourhead.
It hurt so badly! It felt like it was bleeding! When I took my hand away the was not one drop of
blood to be seen. Strange, I felt so sure that I was bleeding that it was nearly unbelievable.
I was hurting so badly. With a struggle, I tried to get up on my feet again. I felt so dizzy.
The street was back. Lights started coming towards me from behind. I thought the street lights were out?
Now this must be the most terrifying thing that's ever happened to me!
OH NO!! They aren't street ligts!! They're car lights! They came from behind me fast.
I raised my arms up for momentum and started racing ahead.
"NO! LEPETHIE!" I could hear someone shouting and I fell....down.......
