This year might be the toughest year of your life. Filled with danger of the unknown and the Shadows. With Nyx sealed and gone, nothing else seems to be unnatural. So the Dark Hour should have vanished for existence.
Though the Dark Hour has continued on.
Now more and more normal people have become victims of Apathy Syndrome falling into a deep slumber and not waking up. While the old victims of the Syndrome from the events of Nyx haven't woken up either. With the old SEES team long gone it is up to you. Yes, you. To save those that haven't woken up and to keep anything from destroying the world.
Simple task right? Signing the contract. Putting your life and psyche on the line. Then battling for your life.
Think again.

The Dark Hour. The unknown twenty-fifth hour to the world.
Caused by a group of scientists that were trying to revive Nyx and use its power for the world. Though Nyx awoke too early and destroyed those scientists only to be taken apart and hidden among Greater Shadows and the heart of one young child. Because of one android, who separated Nyx, this caused the events of the first Tartarus exploration.
Which should have ended the Dark Hour when Nyx was defeated and sealed. Though that didn't happen.
The Dark Hour can only be entered by a certain few. Mostly those that can summon Personas are the only ones that can enter this hour. Though normal people can slip into the Dark Hour as well, which leads to more Apathy Syndrome victims.
During this time, Shadows only tend to attack those that are not in coffins. Which those that cannot enter the hour usually are in. Though the shadow's activity tends to go along with the phases of the moon. So be wary, as you are a part of that few.

-Information/Terms-

Now, now. There are somethings to explain before we go much further. Like some terminology. Those of you who are familiar with Persona 4 will get some of this, but this this has some differences of its own. So here is where the explanations begin.
-The Dark Hour-
As told above it is the hidden hour between the current day and the next one. Most hiding itself between Midnight and one minute after Midnight. (Note, those of you that have heard of Blue Time this should sound familiar) This is the hour that those that can not enter in are inside coffins, the night gets a greenish glow, and the moon's white moonlight because of sickly yellow. Creepy yes. Dangerous you better bet so.
-Evoker-
This is probably the one term that keeps this different from Persona 4. The Evoker, made special by the SEES, is what is required to summon one's "Persona". With its gun like shape the user has to point at their head, either front or on either side, and fire in order to summon their Persona. They do not hold any real bullets, so that can not fight Shadows with them psychically. Though as stated before "Exploring Tartarus without being able to use a Persona is death."
-Weapons-
Yes, you can have weapons and slay weaker shadows with just them. Mostly because over using Persona tend to have effects on the user's psyche, where a Persona comes from. Though these weapons have to be made by the SEES, because any other weapon will not work.
-Apathy Syndrome-
Apathy Syndrome is what happens when a shadow attack a person that can not summon a Persona, or in other word someone who shouldn't be in the Dark Hour in the first place. The Fool Arcana
[Rith Qudamah][18][Male]

Rith Qudamah was orphaned at a young age. His parents died in a supposed accident on a cruise ship. He has been living with his grandparents for a few years now.
Rith always had his own problems. Though most of the coming from the mystery of his parents untimely deaths. Because at the age of five his parents had left on a supposed business trip and had left him in the care of his uncle at the time. Though a week after they had left did his uncle get the phone call, that his parents were found dead on the very cruise liner they had taken to get to Italy for their business trip. Which lead to Rith being bounced around from aunts and uncles for a while.
Though with all his bouncing between schools and parents did he always contiune to look into his parents death. Why on that cruise ship? Why only after the stop in Italy? Along with the major question to him of why in general. Which once he found that a certain company in Iwatodai that happened to be related to it.
Which only after he had joined the SEES and had gained his Persona did he begin to find the answers to his questions. That his parents had stolen information from that company and sold it to some competitors, though instead of paying them they had killed them instead. Which that answer would lead him into a slight depression of locking himself in his dorm room, and skipping on Full Moon operations or Tartarus and Eternrus explorations. Only until some of the members came back and gave him some tough love, which thanks to them made him see that the past is the past and the future can be changed. Which caused his Persona Orpheus, the Master of the Strings, to evolve into Loki, the Trickster God.
His Persona is Orpheus, which will evolve into Loki later.

May-Lee is an excellent fighter : It's a fact everyone knows, but it's a blessing and a curse for her. While she can be independent and defend herself, the fighter girl intimidates most people to the point where the are in fear of approaching her under the sense that she'll beat the crap out of them. She's become a ruthless monster to the public- its a fact she hates. She wants to use her abilities for good, and the SEES has allowed her to do that. However, she still fears that her allies will soon become scared of her too.
Once resolved will cause her Persona, Nekomata, the Magical Cat, to evolve into Jack Frost, the winter spirit.
Her Persona is Nekomata, which will later evolve into Jack Frost.

Asho Obelix has been a victim of bullying for a long time. Starting since Elementary he was picked on because of skill at mathematics. It has been following him since then even changing from mathematics to academics along the way.
Asho has already a massive amount of personal problems. Mostly coming from the bullying for his days in elementary. Which has left him with confidence issues and the mentality that whatever he could do, he might in fact mess it up. Which he was mostly picked on for his skill at math. Which made him a target in the first place. Though now that he's in high school, has it seem to have died off. Though the past experiences have followed him around in his memory.
Now in high school, and once he joins the SEES does he seemed to come out of it. Though only slightly, because he found something that he could do to protect other people. Though only on a Full Moon operation many weeks down the line after his persona awakes does he slowly start to over come his past and it becomes his drive to help his friends on the SEES which leads to his Persona to evolve. From Lucia, the Saint, into Juno, the One who Warns. (Note, his Persona is a Support Persona. Not a fighter.)

What troubles her deeper is that her own gift won't be able to help her- as it has proved that she hasn't been able to read her own fortune in the past.
Which one resolves will cause her Persona, Isis, the Head Egyptian Goddess, to evolve into Pixie, a mischievous fairy.
Her Persona is Isis, which will later evolve into Pixie.

Celosia mostly has problems because of her slightly twisted side. Mostly makes some snide comments at other people, while being kind to the other members of the SEES. She doesn't do it on purpose, most of the time, though because of habit of keeping those people that she doesn't know away does it just happen. A cold comment, a unintended smirk at the comment. Both of those things she can't really control anymore.

While he's normally one to go about his business with a weird smile on his face and laugh at his own failures, Kevin is deep down worried when his luck will, persay, run out, or his bad luck eventually kills him. But that shouldn't be a thing to worry about, unless if your him and the impossible is somehow possible on a particularly "Lucky" day, for better or worse.
Which once resolved will cause his Persona, Fortuna, the Bearer of Luck, to evolve into Atropos, the Cutter of the String of Fate.

Hel Onwuagalaegbula has always been the loner in any school she's been to. With headphones usually over her ears and a stare that could scare of some of the bravest of people. She just seemed to want to be alone.
Hel always started off alone. Mostly because her parents dropped her off at her grandparent's door step, leaving her there and haven't been seen since that day. Even her grandparents leave her to her own devices, which stated the aloofness towards everyone. Which soon developed, over time, into the not mind about other people's lives, the being cold to everyone who tries to approach her, and the keeping everyone at a distance even those that call her a "friend".
Later on, (in the RP), on the night of a full moon a Greater Shadow will appear out of Tartarus and begin going on a rampage. Which Hel, along with some of the other SEES members will go after it and attempt to slay it. Which after a long battle, the shadow will be destroyed but not until after it managed to destroy a single house, her grand parents house killing them.
After which she dropped into a more cold like expression, mostly because of the grief from the incident. Making her more detached from the SEES members and often sticking in her dorm room instead of hanging out with the SEES members. Though on the group's next adventure into Tartarus, which she does come out of her room for, once they get to the base of Tartarus she collapses from exassution. Which cause her to be escorted back by one other SEES member, (perhaps a possible crush).
Once she and her escort get back to the dorm, she laughs slightly and remarks that she is "pathetic". That she couldn't do anything to save her grandparents. Along with remarking that it isn't Death that scares her, but felling the loss of those she calls as "friends". Because she in fact fears the pain and grief that comes with that. Which after a few moments the emotionless facade begins to crumble, which after letting it all out does it harden her resolve to fight.
Which leads to her Persona evolving from Alice, the Insane Maiden, to Thanatos, the Harbringer of Peaceful Death.
Her Persona is Alice, which will later evolve into Thanatos.

Kane, being the first member and the leader of the new SEES, usually had to stick to the side lines for Trumpeter's slight support abilities. Because Tartarus and Eternrus are ever changing, and going in without support was a horrible idea. Even though it was needed and he didn't like it much, he would always put his team and friends first and would sit out anyways.
Though once the SEES manage to get Persona user that is a stronger support member, then Kane will join the battlefield. Being a little bit rusty because of his time on the support bench. Which slowly but surely start to get him down.
On the night of a Full Moon operation did he almost get killed in a Greater Shadow attack. And if it wasn't for the other members of the SEES he would have actually died, though he did have to be hospitalized.

{Rule 0}
Follow all forum rules.
{Rule 1}
One main Persona per character. Though your characters will be able to summon other Personas of the same Arcana, except that of your main Persona's evolution.
{Rule 2}
Your main Persona can evolve later on in the role-play. Though it must be within the same arcana choice. A prime example of this would be Lilim evolving into Lilith, both within the Devil arcana.
{Rule 3}
Yes, users can select the same Personas as there are in the animation. I refer mainly to those like Orpheus, Juno, and others that are user by actual characters. These can be selected for your characters Persona, but it is not recommended. As it would be a little more original if other Personas than the main ones were picked.
{Rule 4}
Sexuality is aloud. From heterosexuals, bisexuals, to homosexuals. Though no homophobia. If homophobia is spotted during the role-play you shall be banned from the role-play and your character shall be one of the victims of the Apathy Syndrome.
{Rule 5}
Also, avoid using Mary-sues or Gary-stues. If the owner suspects your character to be close to one, she shall put it to the test. If the test proves to be positive then she will not accept your character.
{Rule 6}
Please use anime gifs. Because Persona 3 is anime based, anime gifs are preferred over human gifs. Also please attach the name of the face claim, for the character listings above.
{Rule 7}
Since this role-play covers a variance of topics. From high school life, adventure, fantasy, and mystery. There will be moments for Romance. Though as your forum rules have stated, you cannot take it further a kiss on the lips or moderate hug. This isn’t a role-play where fading to black will be allowed, as there are already enough time skips already.
{Rule 8}
Swearing is commonly present in situations like for the characters in this role-play, and if you have seen Persona 3 you will know this well. Hell as a place or frick are all right. Though as your forum rules state, other real swear words must be starred out, or you must find substitutions for that word.
{Rule 9}
Date is very important to this Role Play. Weather not so much this time around. Though the Date is important because of the Full Moon Events. Mainly because that is when the Greater Shadows come out and attack people. So be wary of the phases of the moon in this, and the Dark Hour happens ever night.
{Rule 10}
Since, genders must be balanced for romance and the character information is indeed balanced as well. Eleven females and eleven males. If each user could play two characters that would be useful and is in fact required. Though two is the minimum, four characters is the maximum.
Also only two character that already have their Personas for one person. If you don't know that I'm talking about please re-read the character listing and look for anything in {} these. (One male and one female a piece)
{Rule 11}
Also this will be a semi-literate role-play. So four detailed line is the minimum. Please note that it is lines not sentences. With two characters I understand it is a little more difficult, but the four lines still hold. If you were playing six characters I would lower the limit though that is not the case.
{Rule 12}
Activity. This is a very important one. Everyone involved, including the owner, must post once every three to four days. True, things do intervene, but that is why there is a generous amount of time. If you are unable to post in this amount of time, please tell the owner and explain why. She is an understanding person. Also, if you are not going to be very active then please don’t join at all.
{Rule 13}
You need not be familiar with Persona 3 or any of the Persona series in order to join this role-play. The setting may be the same are Persona 3, though the rest will be explained as it happens. What the Dark Hour is, about Tartarus and Eternrus, and the other similarities this role-play has to Persona 3. Other than that the plot line is original and the rest of it is rater free form.
{Rule 14}
Please no God-moding. You can not dodge ever attack a shadow throws at you. If your Persona gets hit you feel the slight pain as well. And your attacks will not always work, with some Shadow's resistances to certain elements.
{Rule 15}
Please be serious with the "Problems" area of the form. And make it serious, and not something that can be over come in a day. As this will be the main thing that will get your Persona to evolve. So maybe its the worry of finding out nothing about something in their past. Or that they are terrified of something. Though just make it legit. For help go here Persona 3 Walkthrough and only scroll down to the part of Persona Evolution and see what the canon characters had to overcome to evolve their personas.
