" I want to but, I just have a lot on my mind," Caroline said, with a frown.

"Like what? You know you can tell me Caroline." Elena said, wondering what was on her best friends mind.

"I think I like Stefan," Caroline said.

"Wow. So you think you like Stefan, but your still not sure?" Elena asked.

Stefan liked Caroline. She was a great friend and she was sweet. She was also Elena's best friend. But why did he feel so bad about arguing with her. Stefan was sure she was just a friend. But it felt like they were more than just friends.

"Yeah, I don't know why I care about him so much.." Caroline said.

"How long have you felt like this?" Elena asked. She felt like telling Caroline that she had allowed Alaric to compel her, but that was before she heard what had Caroline so worked up.

"Ever since he died saving me," Caroline said.
