Batman looked at Robin and narrowed his eyes. "Just Aqualad."

Robin looked up at his friend before frowning and walking off.

"I am sorry you had to intervene. I know the team performed poorly-" Aqualad started to say.

"The team performed adequately," Batman told him. "The problem was you. You're their leader and your head wasn't in the game."

"No! You are-" Aqualad sighed. "Correct... Of late, I am not even convinced I belong on the surface world. For so many years, it filled my every thought. But now that I am here, my dreams are all Atlantis."

"Atlantis?" Batman asked. "Or someone you left behind? You can split your time between the surface and the sea, but not your mind. Either your here 100% or you need to walk away. Make a decision, Kaldur, and make it soon." He walked away.

Later that day, Kaldur arrived back home. In Atlantis.

"Greetings, Kaldur'ahm," Aqualad greeted his protege.

((Only Atlantean word I understand is "King" XD))

"King Orin." Kaldur smiled as he placed his fist to his forehead.

((Which one?))

The two of them began to swim back to the city center. "The Queen and I are hosting an intimate dinner tonight." He looked at him. "You will attend?"

"Your majesty.... There is someone... Special.... I had hoped to see tonight-" Kaldur told him, smiling as he thought of the King's eldest daughter. The beautiful Naiya.

Aquaman, being quite dull to the situation, said, "You may invite a friend."

Kaldur didn't understand what he meant but said anyway, "Thank you, King Orin."

"Until tonight," Aquaman said, swimming the other way.

Naiya Hamilton, the eldest daughter of King Orin, was training with her step-mother, Queen Vaquira, Garth, and Tatiana. She was currently testing out her new tattoos that generated the magic she used in combat.

"Your technique is excellent," Vaquira told Garth when he landed in front of her during his sparring match with Naiya. "But your choices remain predictable. Combat sorcerery demands... improvisation." She heard someone approaching and looked over before smiling. "Kaldur'Ahm! Oh, so good to see you!"
