Chapter 3

The brown haired girl looked at the door, her blue eyes holding her shock as the music in the hallway roared louder. She slowly looked away from Lara, as she still wasn't sure if she was in deed ready to come to grips with this new reality. Lara gave an exasperated sigh as she pushed a piece of her dark brown hair out of her face. Then she briskly walked into the room, her yellow gold eyes showing that she wasn't messing around, as she grabbed the new arrival's wrist and dragged her out of the room.

"What the!?" Kait breathed as she was being dragged behind Lara. The stumbling of her two left feet made it clear that she was indeed confused by the deed. Lara didn't even turn to look at her new team mate as she dragged her down the hall, but she did say this.

"If you don't know what to do out there, then just stay out of my way."

The dark brown haired girl stopped at a door and pushed the new girl in first. "We're here... finally..." Lara said, muttering the last part of it as she gave a fierce glare at Kait before proceeding.

"Good to see you two made it." Nikk said rather easily as he stood by the stair case in the large dark room. The guy looked at Kait for a second or three, a question on him mind. Though he dropped it as it as there wasn't any grounds for him to state it.

"So, what's taking Windy and Penelope?" Lara asked looking at Nikk, though when he returned with just a shrug she gave him a slight glare. "Nikk, I'm not messing around. Where are they, as theirs a Daemonia out there as we speak."

"Cool down, Lara, will you. The Daemonia out there is only a level five, a weakling. The best it could do is just destroy a part of a building." Nikk said easily, Lara's glare not effecting him in the least bit.

Kait had stopped listening to their conversation at that point, believing that it might become a blood bath of words in a minute or two. The girl's marine blue irises scanned around the room, it was rather dark though some light seeped through the door to make it a little brighter. It seemed like one of those ballrooms that were always in those princess's fairy tales, but this one was darker and colder that those ones. The marble flooring a pillars, even though they were still marble they weren't white they were black instead. The railing going up the stairs wasn't much to look at either, as it was a pine wood stained several shades darker than it needed to be. Though she wondered what was up those stairs to the gates of he.ll as there was nothing but darkness here. Though she whipped her head around as the door op.en.ed once more.

"Sorry, we're late. Windy wouldn't wake up..." Peace said her orange-brown eyes locking on Windy for a second, then turned back to Nikk and Lara. Her maple brown hair shifting slightly as she walked into the dark place, being all dressed in white really made her stand out against the darkness of the room though as Windy followed her in as the doors sh.ut once more did the darkness seem to swallow them both.

"Hurry up, you guys!" A blue haired girl shouted from the top of the stair case, her blue eyes looking right down at them.

"Hurry, de sue!" Another blue haired girl shouted as she peered over the railing at the top of the stair case as well. Her two long blue ponytails hair easily hanging over the railing with ease.

"Come on! The Daemonia's signature has changed!" Another blue haired girl shouted, as she ran up to the railing. Her blue ponytail whipping around behind her as she said that.

"What do you mean it's changed, Silvia?" Lara questioned looking up at the three girl, her golden eyes showing that she didn't believe their tale.

"It's gone from a level five to a level one!" Silvia sharply replied as after that she quickly ran away from the railing followed by the other two girls.

Lara quickly looked at Nikk, as he seemed to get the mental message. They both nodded as they quickly dashed up the stairs, while Peace and Windy started to follow. Peace turned back and looked at Kait, some compassion showing in her orange brown eyes. "Come on, your on our team now." She said with a smile as she came back down the stairs and grabbed the girl's hand. Kait only looked at her, as they went towards the stairs. Her mind racing on this whole thing, Daemonia, Tarot Cards, Fortune Telling, Special school... She wasn't making any head way with it though it was then she remember that one thing Izzy had said to her.

"This isn't a normal school... This is a school for the broken, a school for the dark, a school for those who are different..."

The girl looked as the stairs, then at Peace as they were going up those stairs. She was broken, that was easy to see, but she still wasn't sure if she would fit in here. Though it was at that thought they were at the top of the stairs, her gaze went around the area once more. There was some large chandelier in the center with metal cages on it, she was quite surprised when Nikk and Lara were already in two of the five cages on it. She was about to speak as she watched Windy climb into another one of the cages herself. "Oh, don't tell me we..."

Kait was about to finish saying that as one of the blue haired girls pushed her into a cage of her own. She was about to speak up once more as Peace had stepped into her own cage as well. That was when the blue haired trio went to work at the control panel behind the metal chandelier beast.

"Field distribution stable, Dimension Drive at full power!" One of the girl's shouted as she pulled and pushed a few things on the panel.

"Gate op.en.ing!" The one Lara had called Silvia shouted as the sounds of machinery echoed from below. Kait looked slightly downwards at that point to see that it was op.en.ing something right under them.

"Drop in three... two... one!" Another one of the girls shouted as she pressed a button and the bottoms of the cages fell away, causing them to drop into the wormhole.

The girl whipped her head around, as this was hardly her definition of normal. Though neither Lara or any of the others had fazed at the drop. The girl tried to speak up, though her vocal cords refused to work as she looked downwards once more. There were five gates coming up. pretty fast in her opinion. She looked at the others once more, as again they didn't seem fazed in matter of fact Lara and Nikk were accelerating towards the gates in front of them. The girl watched as the gates op.en.ed of them to pass through though sh.ut right afterwards. Her eyes widened as Peace and Windy went through there own gates unharmed as well. Though she was cl.os.ing in fast on her own gate though it wasn't op.en.ing like everyone elses had. Her eye sh.ut tight as she was sure she was going to slam into it and she was bracing herself for that.

"I am thou, and thou are't me."

The girl's eyes quickly op.en.ed at that. Who had said that, as it wasn't Lara for sure. And everyone else had already passed her by then... who was that who had said that?

"I am thou, and thou are't me. The contract be formed."

The voice came again and stronger this time around. The girl could only watch as her gate op.en.ed at that and she slowly went through it. Leading into the bright white light of the gate as it sh.ut once more behind her. Then leaving everything once more in darkness again.

The girl op.en.ed her eyes to what seemed to be moments later to be in some unknown place that looked twisted and darker than anything she had ever seen before. She looked around as she finally spotted the others of her team. Lara, who’s hair had grown darker almost black, that looked like a dark Alice to her. Peace, who’s hair had changed to a light pink, and she looked like some magician with her formal clothing. Nikk, with his brown spiky hair, now had dragonic wings, horns, claws, and a tail. The wings pitch black along with the tail. Windy, with black like hair, mostly her outfit had changed and a cloak of newspaper by the look of it.

Kait was about to laugh her head off as she looked right at Lara, her card look sure explained a lot of things. She was trying to keep back the laughs raising in her throat.

“Oh, give it a rest already.” Lara replied sharply, her eyes locking on the new girl. She raised a smirk of her own at her next comment. “At least I don’t look like you do.”

Kait raised an eyebrow at that as she looked down at herself, true she was hovering slightly off the ground but her eyes ran up and down of what it could see. She looked like a jester in theory. “Well, Alice at least I make this work.”

Lara looked at the girl, not really expecting a remark in return. She was about to rebut the claim as an unearthly roar sounded from behind the grouping. “Save the comments for later, Jester, as it looks like we found the beast we’ve come for.”

The beast reared as it hoven claws hit into the ground causing a slight tremor to go through out the ground. Kait wasn’t really moved due to being in the air at the time, and neither was Nikk as well. Though Peace and Windy were sent flying backwards while Lara was holding her ground easily.

“Let’s just finish this quickly…” Lara muttered as she managed to get back up stable as her card appeared close to her with a section of a staff showing out of it again. She yanked the staff out of the card as it turned out to be a full scythe as she held it easily. Once she had she briskly dashed at the beast, not waiting for any of her team mates at all.

Nikk shrugged as he took to the air above the beast to distract it from Lara’s assult. Though the beast roared, showing its long boney tails and its dog like skull shown in the red light of the so-called arena. It used one of its tails to knock Lara up and in to the air. Nikk just barely managed to move over there in time to catch the flying girl before the beast could talk about swipe.

“Thanks…” Lara muttered softly not liking the fact that she had to be safed. Nikk only just nodded talking that as much as a complament as he could get from her. Lara didn’t look at him for a moment though quickly looked back at him as an idea struck her. “Nikk, slingshot me.”

“Ok.” Nikk said as he started spinning and Lara spinning with holding on to his hands and wrists. He keep spinning until he was spinning until he was going as fast as he can. “Ready?”

“Ready.”

“Ok, fire!” Nikk shouted as he let go of Lara sending her flying at the Daemonia at high speed. Lara of course had her scythe blade going a head of her. The beast raised some of its boney tails to try and stop Lara’s attack, though her scythe blade cut through them like butter at her speed. Though it didn’t help that she also planted her scythe blade into the ground after she had.

“Please, work. Please, work. Please, work!” Peace pleaded with herself before she extended her hand towards the creature as a magic circle formed underneath the creature. “Blast off!” She shouted as the circle glowed before shrinking in size. A few seconds later a metal pillar shot upwards though it wasn’t the Daemonia that got hit, it was Lara instead. “No! I’m sorry!”

“Leave it to me.” Windy said as out of the back of her card she pulled out a staff with rings in the circle on top of the staff. Though her card instead of vanishing like Lara’s had stayed around. She slammed her staff’s end into the ground at that. “Tower Lighting!” She shouted as lighting roared for the staff and blasted into the Daemonia. The beast roared in pain at that as it fell backwards. Though it roared in rage as its boney tails went around and knocked Windy off her feet in its anger.

Kait was about to move as something else stopped her before she could move.

”Why did this happ.en?

Kait stopped dead in her tracks, her eyes looking around for the origin of the voice. It wasn’t anyone she knew or that voice she heard earlier. Though she couldn’t tell who it was.

”Why did this happ.en to me?”

The girl looked at the Daemonia, as it was the only thing that could explain it. Though she would have to be crazy, as no one else seemed to hear them. Though why could she hear them? Or where the other’s just ignoring them? She shook her head as her card appeared in front of her as two hilts, she grabbed both of them, one for each hand. She briskly pulled them out as the same two blades she had the first time back then. Kait quickly flew at the beast, the blades shining as she did so. The gem on her chest incasing her in a red glow as she dived at the beast, and her blades plunging into the beast while the beast roared in pain. The blade punged in deeper and deeper as the hollow in the middle exposed itself, showing a card spinning in the middle of it. Her gaze fell on the card, the Emperor card though it was black in color.

Images flashed in front of her eyes, her two sisters laying mangled on her bed room floor, the carpet soaked with blood, some of the blood falling off the same blades she held now. Tears stained her eyes as the blade in her hand ripped through the card, as the Daemonia roared in anger and pain before it vanished into thin air. The girl soon fell to the ground as she changed back to her normal form and her Jester look was no more. At that her eyes cl.os.ed as she fell the rest of the way to the ground, as the tears ran for a moment longer before drying.

Nikk came soaring down, Lara with him due to Peace’s misfire. “Peace, what was that!?” Lara snapped as she finally got back to the ground with her scythe firmly in hand before it vanished, returning to her card once more.

“I’m sorry!” Peace exclaimed as she bow in respect in the gaze of her mistake. “I don’t know what happ.en.ed! But my spell didn’t work.”

Lara glared at Peace for a moment longer before turning her attention to Kait once more. “Come on, she’s not going to get back to the school by herself.” She sighed as she went to pick the girl up.

The brown haired girl awoke a moment later. Her blue eyes scanned around this new room. She was in some kind of chair in a long room. Everything in that room was a shade of blue, the carpet, the curtains on the long windows, the chair she was even sitting in was blue. Her gaze went out the window for a second as it was foggy out there but it sounded like she was in some kind of car. Her gaze quickly came back into the car as she noticed a woman with short blond hair wearing all blue and a brown book in her lap, though then her gaze when to the old man sitting across the table from her. His hands folded in front of him and his nose curled slightly over them and his eyes were also cl.os.ed as well. Though as if on cue he op.en.ed them a second later and looked right at Kait, a small smile formed underneath his hands almost hiding it from her view.

“Welcome to the Velet Room.”

It didn’t take long for the group to get back to the school from the other dimention. Lara didn’t say anything as she was carrying the unconicous girl back into the school. Peace’s orange brown hair bounced around behind her as she ran up to Lara, on her path towards the infirmary with the unconicous girl.

“Lara, I am sorry about that. I just don’t know what’s been happ.en.ing lately… “ Peace started to say as Lara’s golden eyes turned to her, almost glaring at her.

“If it was practice, I would have forgave you. Though that was out in a real battle.” The dark brown haired girl said easily looking right at Peace for that. She stopped at the infirmary door and easily pushed it op.en with her foot. Scaring the nurse inside at that point. Lara easily walked into the dim light room and looked at the nurse for a second before walking over one of the empty bed, and placing the unconisious girl easily on it. Once she had she whipped herself around, her dark brown hair whipping violently as she went back to the door and out into the hallway once more. The infirmary doors easily cl.os.ing behind her as she left the room. “Now I have to go talk with the Headmistress.”

“No, you’re not thinking what I think you’re thinking are you!?” Peace stuttered to say rather stunned at the idea forming in her head.

“If you follow you might just find out.” Lara replied simply as she started down the hallway, her boots clicking against the tiled floor of the school hallways. Peace, her orange eyes shaking, raced to catch up with her. Lara, looked back at the girl out of the corner of her eyes, of course she didn’t want to do this to her but she didn’t have much of a choice now. ”If she can’t control her powers she is a danger to us all…” Lara thought to herself as she approached towards the headmistress’s office then seeing Nikk and Windy were already standing outside the door waiting there.

“Another team is already in there.” Nikk said easily looking at Lara, his black-brown eyes holding firm. Showing that he was serious by all degrees.

“Yup.” Windy chimed in after than. The smile showing slightly on her face, and her eyes backing that up that joy. “Anyways… Can we go back to the dorm now?”

“I work with children…” Lara growled slightly as she walked up to the doors and pushed the op.en. Causing them to slam on the inside of the office. Mr. Southlkey was the first one to look at the door, his red eyes showing both concern and curiousity at the new development. His gaze was followed by Ms Alamoria’s how looked at Lara wondering why she was here as well, lastly Ms Snowsbell looked at the door with no emotion showing on her face. The cat on the desk and the raven on the stand also looked at the door as well, it was hard to tell if they were either pleased or horrified to see more people coming in today.

Lastly it was Hoshi how looked at the door with one Luciera Valientine sitting next to her, her gaze downward towards the floor, she didn’t even turn to look at the door and her eyes stayed on some unknown spot on the floor. Musi and Opal were the next two to look at the door, they were standing behind the couch that Hoshi and Luciera were sitting on.

“What’s going on here?” Lara questioned as she walked into the room, knowing all well she was not invited but she needed to talk to the headmistress now.

“Lara… It isn’t good news…” Musi choked to say as she was trying her best to hold back the tears that wanted to fall. She avoided Lara’s golden gaze for a second, though looked right at her a second later. Her marine blue eyes filled with shock and sadness.

“Would some one care to explain.” Nikk said being the one to step forward, his dark purple hair which would almost be black in the middle of the night. Yet, for his hilarious demeanor he was rather serious right now and his eyes easily proving it.

“Luciera…” Opal muttered her brown eyes looking away from the group at the door, she her gaze wouldn’t hold them currently. Some of her dark brown if not black hair falling in front of her face as she said that.

“Well?” Lara questioned as no one was getting to the point.

“It’s about Luciera…” Hoshi finally spoke up as she got up from the couch she was sitting on her dark blue eyes easily holding Lara’s gaze. Yet, the pain was evident in her eyes.

“Ok… So?” Lara questioned once more, as that still didn’t get them to the point.

“Ms Luciera Valientine has lost her powers, Ms Night. She can not longer fight the Daemonia but she can still see them.”

“The… The velvet room?”

“This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter.” The man said though he didn’t address the girl’s comment as he went on. “Those that have formed a contract are the only ones that can come here. And I see you have made a contract…”

“Contract?”

“Take this key, it is the Contracter’s Key. You will now be one of our welcome guests here in the velvet room.” He said going on once again as his moved his hand as a key appeared in the air and slowly dropped down and onto the table in front of her and the girl. The key had a round top with a face on it but it was cut in half so the negative on one side of the half was the positive space on the other half. “Take it, my dear.”

The girl looked at the man and the key for a second before reaching out her right hand and gently taking the key in return. The man seemed to smile as his hand returned to its place under his nose.

“Good, now I should introduce myself. I am Igor.” The man said with a smile as his eyes looked right at the girl this time around.

“And I am Margaret.” The blond haired girl said dressed all in blue with a brown book on her lap. “Pleased to make your aquatance. Your journey shall be a long and dangerious one. I shall watch your destiny rather eagerly.”

“The card’s say your destiny will be long and eventful. We shall see if your destiny is indeed what the cards say.” Igor said easily as several tarot cards appeared on the table, at first looking like the tarots that she had her friends had though changed to show on the backs of the cards. Not the gates like that were normally there but faces like the same face on her key. “Now it is time to part ways. We shall await your return.”

“Wait, what?” The girl said as she was forced out of the room as everything faded to black once again. ”No… I still had… questions…”

“What do you mean that Luciera lost her powers?” Lara questioned bluntly, expecting that Ms Snowsbell was yanking on her chain with that comment. Her golden gaze went from each of the four students in the room. Hoshi, who had looked away from her at that; Opal, who still refused to look at her; Luciera, who was still looking at some unknown spot on the floor; and lastly Musi, who tried to look at Lara as the tears beconded at her marine blue eyes at that point.

“I dislike to say, but Ms Night it is true…” Ms. Alamoria was the one to speak up after that. Her hand folded and laying in her lap as her cherry red eyes looked at Lara, meaning every word of what she had said.

“Unfortantly, Ms. Night, Ms Alamoria is correct.” Ms. Snowsbell said easily as her blue-grey eyes locked on Lara the lack of emotion evident in her tone. “Ms. Valientine has indeed lost her powers and could be possible that it can happ.en to everyone else including you.”

Lara stayed silent at the, the headmistress hitting her one weak spot hard. ”Yeah, right. Blow that hot air Ms Sonwsbell. If one of us will be losing our powers but bet is on you.” She thought to herself with a smirk before regaining her voice once more. “So what are these symptoms to one losing their powers?”

“According to what we can get from Hoshi and the others… It starts with a lark of control over ones powers, then to being able to transform but can not call your weapon or powers, then to not being able to transform at all…” Ms. Alamoria said simply her cherry red eyes showing that she was hurting on the inside, as she didn’t want something like this to happ.en.

Lara’s gaze turned back to Peace at that, she powers had always been shoty but now more than most. Peace’s gaze turned away from her, as she seemed nervous and didn’t like the sound of the conversation at hand.

“Anyways, Ms. Night, what did you want?” Ms. Snowsbell said at that, as Lara turned and locked eyes with her once more.

“Yes, to that. I would like to suggest that Team A and Team B be merged.”

One, Kait Irene Nightengale woke up with a start. Her panting fast and her eyes wide as the five words escaped her lips. “No… I still had questions!” It came out slightly loud and added to her panting, after a minute her breathing slowed down. She wondered if it was all just a dream but as she looked down at her right hand as it was gripped in a fist. Her hand eventually unfolded as her eyes widened, in her hand was that same key. “So it wasn’t a dream…”

After a moment of looking at the key, her light blue eyes scanned mostly around the room, it was almost like the same room she woke up in that afternoon. “Why does this keep happ.en.ing to me?” She muttered to herself as her brown hair fell into her face once again as she was then sitting on the bed.

“Because the best of things happ.en to the unexpected present of people.”

The girl turned and looked towards where the voice had rung out, her gaze fell on a figure siting in a chair by a desk. She couldn’t get a good view until the figure turned around letting his face show in the light. It was a guy with metal grey hair, he had silver eyes and had a black jacket over a white button up shirt.

“Who are you?” The girl asked as she looked at the guy as he got up from chair grabbing some bandages from the desk before starting to walk over towards her.

“Yu Shin…” The guy replied rather easily as he held the bandages in his hands as he walked over towards her and them placed them on the bed. “Can I get a look at your injuries?”

“What?” The girl replied as she looked down at her legs, as they were cuts and scratches on them. “Oh yeah…”

Yu only nodded as he slowly and gently started to wrap the bandages around the girl’s legs, to keep the cuts from reop.en.ing once more. “You meet Igor and Maraget then…”

“What? How do you know them?” Kait questioned looking at the guy, as she couldn’t decide if he was trying to make her look like she was nuts or if he had something as well. Her light blue eyes looked right at him, as he had stayed quiet as he was still rapping the bandages on one of her legs. Once he had cut that piece off he had moved to the other leg, not looking back at the girl though more focusing on his work that avoiding the girl’s gaze. “Do you know them?” She asked again as once again the guy didn’t answer as he kept putting the bandages on her leg.

It wasn’t until he was done did his silver eyes look back at the girl, then pulling up a chain that was around his neck. The girl’s eyes stayed on the chain as out from under his white shirt came a key in the same design as the key she held in her right hand. “You can say that.”

“Ms Night, what is with this sudden outburst of nonsense?” Ms Snowsbell questioned as her blue grey eyes narrowed. At that she stood up from the couch were she was just sitting moments earlier. “Can you even support your reasoning with pure hard evidence?”

“As a matter of fact, I do.” Lara replied, biting back the comment that she would have ‘loved’ to say to the headmistress instead. “Because someone has already lost their powers, and the possibility of others losing their powers as well. The merge of the teams are a ‘pro-caution’, per say.”

Musi’s marine blue eyes lit up at the comment, finding it hard to stay rather emotionless and hid her happiness about the proposal. Though she managed to get herself enough under control to voice her opinion. “It is a… well thought out idea.” She said easily though the joy easily in her voice.

“I do agree, anyways the ones who lose their powers can sit out on missions while some of us still can go.” Nikk said, being the next one to support the idea. Yet, being able to keep his inner happiness more hidden than Musi had.

“Well, Ms Snowsbell, it is hard to fight with the reason behind it.” Ms. Alamoria said as her cherry eyes landing on Ms Snowsbell, who even though you couldn’t see it on her face or in her eyes, her body movements were screaming that she hated being wrong.

“Apparently…” Ms Snowsbell said keeping all emotion out of her tone.

“So, Headmistress… Will you give us permission then?” Lara asked as a slight smile was showing on her face.

One brown haired guy stood outside in the large hallway, his brown hair falling in front of his left eye along with a section that was dyed black. The only showing eye visible, as the grey eye briskly op.en.ed as the door in front of him op.en.ed slowly but surely. Out of the op.en door came, one guy with short black hair with green brown eyes, along with a brown haired girl with green eyes, her hair back in a ponytail with a little pink flower on the elastic. The two of them looked rather grim as the guy leaning against the wall in the hallway stiffened by the looks of their faces.

“It’s not good, is it?” The brown haired guy asked looking from the girl to the guy. His gaze staying simple but the worry was evident in his voice.

“It isn’t good… Marik… It isn’t good…” The black haired guy slowly replied not coming to meet Marik’s one eye gaze.

“It’s not good at all…” came the reply from the girl at that part. While a girl with long light blond hair came out of the room at that point, her light sky blue eyes staying towards the ground.

“Come on, guys. Spit it out!” Marik almost shouted as his eye went from each of them. “Come on and tell me! Levi? Allison? Ushi? Come on just tell me, what happ.en.ed? Will they… will they…. Be alright?”

Ushi, the light blond haired girl, turned away from Marik as her breathing quickened. From behind he couldn’t tell if the girl was actually sobbing or not, yet it sure sounded like it. Allison, the brown haired girl, continued to look at some invisible spot on the floor with her green eyes avoiding Marik’s gaze, her voice not responding to her will to speak up.

“Do you really want the true, Marik? No matter how much it hurts?” Levi, the black haired guy asked as his green brown eyes staying firmly on Marik, as it was Marik who looked away from him.

“If you’re saying that… then it isn’t good then…” Marik said as he looked away from Levi. The sadness evident in his tone, almost freezing in the air around them as he turned back the Levi after a minute or two.

“Fairia’s…. condition is getting worse… every day her powers start going out of control…. Though… this time…” Levi started to say as it was Marik who jumped ahead of him.

“Oh… Don’t tell me… that… that… that!”

Levi nodded slowly at that. “Laila’s been injured… and is currently in a coma from the injuries…” He said as if every word was paining him. “Fairia is taking it… rather hard…”

“And… what about Winter?” Marik asked as the pain was starting to choke him to death. His one visible eye widened in fear.

“She’s fine… though her powers are now completely gone…” Allison was the one to speak up now, her green eyes shining a mix of sadness and fear. “She’s consoling Fairia right now.”

Marik was about to speak up once again as a girl stumbled slightly out of the room behind them, her white hair covering her face as she tumbled slightly. Her purple-grey eyes looked at the group, though it was only one eye because the other eye was covered with bandages. Bandages also covered her arms down to her wrists and her legs down to her ankles.

“Pearl, you should still be resting…” Allison said as she quickly rushed over to the girl to help stabilize her.

“No… I want to be out helping you guys…” Pearl said softly as she let Allison help her. “But we need to tell the headmistress what happ.en.ed… and I want to be there when you guys tell the headmistress.”

“Well, we better get there than.” Levi said leading the group down the hallway with him at the front of the group. Though with Allison and Peace towards the back of the grouped, as she helped Peace down the hallway keeping her steady as they went.

“How long have you know them?” Kait asked as she looked at Yu, her medium blue eyes looked at the guy. For once she was glad that she wasn’t the only one to be in a certain category since coming to this place.

“About a month now.” Yu replied rather easily as his silver eyes looked deep into the girl’s eyes. His grey hair lining up neatly with his black glasses frames as his eyes locked on with hers. His silver eyes were rather intriguing and the depth in them could be easily seen in them.

“Do… you know if anyone else here as been there?”

“No… No one on my team.”

“So we could be the only one…” The girl asked as Yu had gotten up from the ground, then proceeding to help her off of the bed so she could stand. She looked at him once again, though she couldn’t tell if he was slightly blushing or not.

“I’m sorry…”

“For what?”

The next moment came rather fast and unexpectedly, as in the flash of an eye Yu had brought himself cl.os.er to the girl as he had gently pulled her cl.os.er to him. The girl blushed slightly as the rosy color started to enter into her cheeks as he had. It was only a matter of time before Yu had brought himself cl.os.er to the girl, his silver eyes not even showing a shred of doubt, as he brought her in and kissed the girl on the lips. The girl’s eye’s widened slightly by the development as after a few minutes her eyes cl.os.ed afterward. She felt nothing wrong with it, true it could have been better later but nothing seemed to be wrong with it at all.

“Ghe, mate, I can’t leave you alone for a few minutes.”

Yu quickly backed up at the sound of a new voice, the blush showing hard through on his cheeks by the interruption. His silver eyes staying away from the doorway, highlighting his embarrassment. The girl’s brown hair fell slightly over her eyes for a while as she moved it out of her blue gaze to see one maple brown haired girl with deep blue eyes, Izzy.

“Izzy…”

“Well, looks like the jig is up.” Izzy said as she walked into the room, her gaze stayed on Yu for a moment before moving to room more. “Sorry, mate…” She said turning to Kait at that point. “Yu here, tends to have some weird moments.”

“Did he do this to everyone one?”

“Nope, but he does tend to have his… ‘unique’ moments…” Izzy said just stating the truth of what she had heard around the school during her time here. “Anyways… what are you guys talking about here, mates?”

“Ahh…………” The girl stuttered to come up with an answer as she gripped the key in her right hand. Wondering if Izzy would really believe them or her if she told her the truth.

“The velvet room.” Yu said simply as the girl watched, rather surprised that he had gather his courage back soo quickly and managed to turn around and look Izzy in the eye. As he had just been busted by Izzy a moment earlier.

“The velvet room?” Izzy questioned as she seemed rather stunned by the three words but she blew it off a moment later. “The velvet room? Ha! Sounds like some room with a ton of a prawns in there.”

“Izzy, do you know the place?”

“You really think I know the place, mate?”

“Do you know this key then?” Yu was the one to ask as he brought up the key on the chain around his neck showing the key once more. Izzy’s eyes fell on the key, as some of the blood rushed out of her face for a second. Though she quickly looked away for a second before coming back to it.

“Izzy, do you know about it?”

Izzy didn’t respond as she didn’t look at both of them for a moment. A brief sigh escaped her lips as she turned back to them. “Yes, I know of it unfortunately…”

“So you have a key?”

The brunette reached into her pocket as she slowly pulled out a key in the same design and manner from her pocket. She looked back at the two of them at that. “Well, mate, there’s your proof.”

"Fine Ms. Night. I shall allow your request." Ms. Snowsbell said with a slight exaggerated sigh, as she cl.os.ed her eyes slightly. Her gaze went to Ms. Alamoria and Mr. Southlkey at that point. "Do either of you have anything against it."

"I don't mind, as I would actually agree with Ms. Night's reasoning." Ms. Alamoria said at that point with a smile while her cherry eyes looked at Ms. Snowsbell.

"I don't really care, either way." Mr. Southlkey said speaking in a heavy Russian accent as he shrugged slightly.

"So we are agreed." Ms. Alamoria said happily as she looked at Lara then to Peace, Windy, Nikk, Musi, Hoshi, Opal, then her gaze landed on Lucieria as the smile that was on her face vanished at that point.

"Good." Lara said with a sly smile on her face, as the door's to the office op.en.ed once again. Leading to everyone looking at the doors once more.

One black haired Levi walked into the office first, followed by one Ushi as her blond hair bounced around behind her. Then followed by Marik and his brown spiky hair, and lastly was Allison helping Pearl into the office.

"What happ.en.ed!?" Hoshi questioned as she looked at Pearl wrapped up in her bandages.

"That's what we've come here to talk about." Levi said looking at Hoshi and then looking to then headmistress along with the other teachers. "Ms. Snowsbell, Ms. Alamoria, Mr. Southlkey... Fairia's powers have gone out of control again. Cause Laila, who was hit in the outburst, to fall into a coma..."

The whole room with silent at that point. The long and dragging silence lasted for a few minutes until Ms. Snowsbell finally spoke up. "That is unfortunate. How about Ms. Faragondan?"

"Her powers have gone completely..." Ushi said softly at that point.

"Ohh..." Ms. Alamoria said softly, as the silence returned once more. Ms. Snowsbell was about to speak up as the speakers came on.

"Ms. Snowsbell! Ms. Alamoria! Somethings happ.en.ed!"

The voice of one Sarah of the triplets came over the speakers as Ms. Snowsbell walked over to the microphone as she pressed the button on it. "This is Ms. Snowsbell. Is it another Level 1 Daemonia?"

"No, its worse!"

"What do you mean by worse?" Ms. Snowsbell said her eye brows raising in question at that point.

"It's a Level Zero!"

Ms. Snowsbell stood there as if she was frozen there. Her blue-grey eyes visible showing the shock in them. She looked at the other teachers as they shared the same look. She looked down at the microphone at that point as she spoke once more. "Alright, everyone will be going on this on. Prepare the Dive for seventeen..."

"On it!"

"Would someone like to explain what a Level Zero Daemonia is?" Lara questioned sharply at that point as the speaker shut itself off.

"Cerebrum... Cerebrum has returned..."

"Ms. Snowsbell, what do you mean? What is this level zero, as you always thought that Daemonia were leveled from five to one. Five being the weakest and one being the strongest." Lara said with the sharpness evident in her tone as her gaze shifted from teacher to teacher. "Well!?"

"What we taught you is true, Daemonia normal Daemonia, only have levels registered in those numbers one through five. Though there has only been one level zero one record..." Ms. Alamoria spoke up as her cherry eyes avoided the students as she was the first of the teachers to make it to the door.

"Ai, the only think that makes a level zero Daemonia is that they can think for themselves and are not like animals." Mr. Southlkey said his russian accent bending through as he said it then following Ms. Alamoria towards the door.

"So then who is this Cerebrum fella?" Hoshi questioned after that.

"Yeah..." Opal spoke up finally after that.

As the silence grew between the group as Ms. Snowsbell started towards the group as well. Musi took a step forward at that point and op.en.ed her mouth. "Headmistress, this is not a time to leave us in the dark."

"Yeah!" Windy shouted after that point, though quieted down after getting a glare from Lara.

"Come on, Headmistress, we need to know." Nikk spoke up lastly at that point. While Marik, Levi, Allison, Ushi, and Pearl nodded at that point. All of the students in the room looked straight at the Teachers at that point with Marik, Levi, and Allison blocked their escape route for the time being.

"Fine." Ms. Snowsbell sighed in annoyance. "Cerebrum is a Daemonia, though he looks like a human and acts like one as well. He appeared ten years ago when the original holders of your cards, Lucieria, Musi, Hoshi, Opal, were the ones that found out about him. Also they were the ones that found out our information about the Diablos Tarots and the inverse copies of Elemental Tarot users. Though they were also the ones that found out about the classification of level zero Daemonia."

"Cerebrum was also Lucieria's old card user's inverse. He is also one that tried to get Daemonia to evolve past their limits that they have now." Ms. Alamoria said picking up after Ms. Snowsbell. "Which if they had succeeded it would have been the end of the world as we know it."

"So then wasn't he destroyed all that time ago?" Peace gently questioned at that point.

"We thought so... though now we must get going before he does some heavy damage." Mr. Southlkey said at that point as he pushed Ushi, Allison, and Levi out of the way as he dashed past them. The students in the room slowly looked at each other before dashing out of the office, on the tails of the teachers. They quickly followed behind Mr. Southlkey and Ms. Snowsbell while Ms. Alamoria took a slight detour.

Her heels clicking against the room as she sprinted down the halls before shoving the doors to the infirmary. Kait, Yu, and Izzy whipping around to look at the door not expecting anything like that to happ.en. Ms. Alamoria panted for a few seconds before finally gain her voice.

"You three... need to come to the Drop now." Ms. Alamoria said panting heavily at this point and motioning to them.

"What's going on, mate?" Izzy was the one who spoke up first as she took one step towards the door.

"I'll explain on the way though just come now!" Ms. Alamoria said more urgency coming into her voice. At that point she turned away from that room, causing the trio to spirit after her through the hallways heading towards the Drop Zone.

"What is this about?" Kait asked in-between breaths as she spirited after Ms. Alamoria.

"Then end of the world as we know it..." Ms. Alamoria said grimly as she sped up ahead of the rest of the group causing to trio of students to speed now as well.

While Kait, Izzy, and Yu shared a look before running after Ms. Alamoria all the same then running quickly after Ms. Alamoria knowing with her tone it couldn't be good at all. After what seemed to be years of running through did they finally get to the Dive Drop did they finally see were all the others students or most of them were there as well.

"Guys, whats going on?" Kait asked rather curious though fearfully for herself as well.

"Nothing good at all." Lara said at that point.

"Let's just say its then end of the world as we know it." Musi chimed up afterwards.

"That's what we already got, mate. So anything else to it?" Izzy asked at that point, her foot slightly tapping against the ground.

"It means that the teachers are finally coming off the bench, and that Cerebrum has 'returned'." Hoshi said her right hand on her waist and with a sigh at the end of it.

"So who's Cerebrum?" Yu asked at that point finally breaking his vow of silence.

"The bringer of our demise." Ms. Snowsbell shouted from the top of the stairs standing next to Sarah, Serna, and Silvia. "And maybe the destroyer of the world if we don't hurry up!"

Each of the students briskly looked at each other, though look in their eyes grim as piece by piece the group sprinted up the large staircase to the drop. Izzy was the first one up there as she looked the teachers square in the eyes. "Would someone mind explain who this Cerebrum Bloke is?"

Ms. Snowsbell subtlety turned her head from looking at the Drop to Izzy at that point. No emotion showing on her face as she said the next few words. "That 'bloke' is a Daemonia, though a thinking almost human like one." She said rather bluntly in the extent of the problem as she briskly walked towards one of the cages for the dive as Mr. Southlkey and Ms. Alamoria did the same.

The triples were over by the control panels as the proceeded to op.en the drop hole to launch the teachers off first. The group could only watch as the teacher's were getting ready the drop. While the only word spoken aloud came up in a matter of seconds.

"LAUNCH!"

The teacher dropped from the metal rigging into the worm hole before it cl.os.ed and the rigging came back down. Waiting for the next group to enter.

"Alright, next group in!" Serna shouted at that point as she looked at the group.

"Well come on, people! All of you have to go!" Silvia shouted at that point as even she looked at the group.

"Go de-sue!" Sarah chimed in lastly, while even she was looking at the group.

"Well, I'm no coward." Lara said stepping forward to take a position on the next drop. "So I'm going."

"I'll go too!" Musi chimed in after that taking the next position in the drop as she slightly ran over to it with a simple smile on her face.

Nikk nodded as he didn't say a word as he took the next place in the drop. "Well, I can't let you two going alone."

"You just want to try and steal my scythe again..." Lara joked as she was already in one of the drop cages.

"One of these times I'll get it away from you." Nikk replied with a smirk as he got himself into another drop cage as well.

"You too and your little games." Musi giggled from another drop cage though not loud enough for the other two to hear.

Opal sighed mostly to herself as she quietly stepped forward at that point. With a small hand wave did she quietly walk over to take the last drop cage for the Drop. The triplets started typing away at the keyboards and controls and the metal rigging raised skywards once more and the metal covering the worm hole spread away once more. It was only another few matter of minutes though stringed with silence at that point. Until once again the same shout rang out.

"LAUNCH!"

As the three girl and one guy dropped from the metal cages diving arrow point into the worm hole. Causing everyone to watch as they were the next ones into the worm hole and the sight cl.os.ed after then had past through it. With a slight screech from the metal work as the metal rigging came back towards the group once more.

"Next group in!" Serna shouted her blue gaze piercing at the grouping.

"In, de-sue!" Sarah interjected at that point.

"Well, I'm no frightened Ankle-biter." Izzy said with a smirk on her face as she walked towards the drop taking one of the drop cages for herself. "And none of those snakes can stop me from doing it."

"Well, I'm going of course!" Windy shouted with a excited tone to her voice as she hop skipped and jumped over to an empty drop cage. Excitedly taking her place in the drop cage.

Levi smiled slightly as he simply walked over to an empty drop cage and claimed it as his own. A slight smirk forming as he climbed into his cage. "This should prove interesting."

Allison smiled softly as she slowly made her way towards the other op.en drop cage. Taking a deep breath before climbing into it. "I'll go... to help my friends..." She said softly to herself as if making a resolve for herself as she climbed into the cage as well. The metal rigging started to raise into the sky again as Yu, Kait, Hoshi, Marik, Ushi, and Peace looked at the triplets. The should of clicking keys ringing out in the silence until the metal over the worm hole moved and the sounds of the worm hole came forth. The only thing being louder than that was one word.

"LAUNCH!"

The metal cages op.en.ed letting Izzy, Allison, Levi, and Windy drop into the worm hole at that point. In a matter of three seconds did the metal over the worm hole slid back over and silence rained over once more as the metalry sounding from the metal rigging coming back down once more.

"Next group!" Serna shouted once again.

"Group, de-sue!" Sarah echoed again at that point.

"I'm going." Marik said proudly as he briskly walked over to one of the op.en cages taking his spot in the Drop.

Ushi nodded slowly as she slowly headed for another drop cage. She quietly made her way over there just to stop slightly before the cage door. "For Winter, Laila, and Fairia." She said to herself as she climbed into the cage taking her spot in it.

Yu quietly headed for another one of the drop cages. Almost as is if the silence was killing him and taking his spot in the drop to as if prevent that.

"There going to need all the help they can get." Peace said more to reassure herself than anyone else. After a beat did she quickly head towards the last op.en cage for this Drop as climbing into it. The silence returned once more, like a monster eating away at those left waiting to go and those already in the Drop. Only the sounds of keys clicking were the one thing to kept they from breaking down entirely. The worm hole roared once more as it op.en.ed once again.

"LAUNCH!"

The sudden come of the one shouted word catching most of the ones in the Drop by surprise this time around as the metal rigging let them going dropping them into the worm hole and cl.os.ing on them once more after they past by. Once they had did the three blue haired girl triplets look at them at that point.

"You two, your turn." Serna said easily as she looked at Hoshi and Kait.

"Turn, de-sue." Sarah echoed before getting slapped in the back of the head by Siliva.

Hoshi looked back at Kait, who looked away from the girl at that point. Hoshi didn't say anything as she walked over to one of the cages and climbed into it. She leaned against one of the sides of the metal cage as she looked back at Kait once more. "You coming girl?"

"Yes... yes I am..." Kait said with a soft tone as she moved a little fast than she would have before. Her eyes scanned over the cage for a second until she climbed into the cage after that pause.

The triplets bickered among themselves for a second as the raised the metal rigging into the sky once more. Kait looked upwards begging herself not to look down once the worm hole op.en.ed though the sound of the worm hole was enough to make her heart drop to her feet in a matter of seconds. Though her heart froze as the one shouted word came out for the last time.

"LAUNCH!"

As the cage bottom gave away from under her and Hoshi did she actually look down at that point. As the outlines of two cards with gates op.en on the backs of them. Hoshi dived though one as Kait sighed cl.os.ing her eyes as she dived through the other one. After a moment or three did she op.en her eyes seeing that she was hovering slightly above the ground as she looked around at that point. She managed to find herself in the same jester outfit as she was dropped the first time though it was everyone else she wanted to look at. Lara in her gothic Alice outfit standing next to a Draconic Nikk with abyssal black wings and tail, the two of them looking at the three older people that she didn't recognize. Her eyes looked over at were Hoshi would have landed to see her with her same brown hair though with blackened angel wings and an all black outfit and slightly off from her was a dark brown haired girl with a red mini dress with black underneath it with black tights red shoes and a light green shall cape on top, probably Musi was her guy.

Opal was standing off to the side with red and blue tinted angel wings and a dark mini dress with a yellow bow in the middle of it and brown boots though with a large ax with both of her hands on the staff. Next to her was Peace in a magical like outfit of light blues, purples, and some pink to it as well. The two of them were rather tense though Opal seemed a little better with Levi in warrior attire behind them. Allison was cl.os.e by them in a lilac purple kimono with royal designs, though the worry was present on her face.

Windy was bouncing around the place in her all black outfit and a paper cloak and a staff with ringlets bouncing around as well. The girl's excitement was rather unnerving though off balanced the tenseness of everyone else. Though Ushi was standing by herself with a bow in hand and small angel wings showing under her blond hair and so far with the brightest outfit with a majority of pink in it. Her eyes finally came to Yu and Marik, Marik in a full silver armor get up and Yu with a red and white suit with a white head piece and his hair spikier than she would have even guessed. Izzy was standing slightly by Yu, the black dress with some white fur working well with her red and black butterfly wings.

"Alright, Alright! Order, Order!" call out one russian accent from the adult guy in all black get up with a pair of black bat wings, black feathered wings, and boney wings. The words easily quieting down the students there at the time.

"Now were are here looking for Cerebrum." said the one lady all dressed in white with a sand hour glass cradled by her left hand. The no emotion in her tone easily tagging her as Ms. Snowsbell.

"Now, please be careful. All of you." said the one lady in a pink white dress with white ribbons in her hair, only meaning that she was Ms. Alamoria.

"Oh, yeah do be careful. As a lot of things are deadly out here."

The teachers were the one that stepped forward at that point. In a matter of seconds a white haired boy appeared in front of them. Wearing a black cloak and black pants underneath and a black ripped shirt as well.

"Cerebrum." Ms. Snowsbell growled at that point as she took a step forward from the teachers grouping in front of the students.

"What? No long time no see? No who have you been?" The white hair guy asked as he looked at the teacher a smirk firmly on his face. "Aww. I'm hurt."

"You don't deserve any of that lady." Mr. Southlkey said at that point as he and Ms. Alamoria joined Ms. Snowsbell ahead of the other students.

"Oh, I see that you've also got the other card holders here. Aww you even brought the Star, Moon, and Temperance!" Cerebrum said with a laugh at that point. "Though what happ.en.ed to the Sun? Don't tell me she croaked or is she really here." He said as he looked directly at Izzy at the end of that for a second before looking back at the teachers once more. "Anyways. AS you can see I'm not dead."

"Isn't that rather odious." Ms. Snowsbell started to say as something slashed right through all three of the teachers easily sending all three of them to the ground. "What... in the..."

"Oh, didn't I say. I. am. not. alone." Cerebrum said smugly as a red and black jester materialized beside him. "Isn't that right, Reala?"

"Of course." The black and red jester cooed with a smirk on it's lips.

"Now what?" Ms. Alamoria chocked as the red liquid spilled from the wound spreading from the edge of her hip to the other side.

"Now. We will take those Elemental Tarots that you love so much." Cerebrum said with a smirk as he headed towards the three teachers with a smirk. The black and red jester, Reala hanging back letting Cerebrum have his gloating moment.

"You will never get them..." Ms. Snowsbell spat, breaking her emotionless facade as the three tarot cards, the Devil, Judgement, and The World started to spin slowly a head of the three teachers. While the crimson liquid started to pool together underneath them.

"I... release... my card... for a new... user..." Ms. Alamoria spoke her voice shaky as her right hand touched the card with her right hand and it vanished a second later before Ms. Alamoria collapsed to the ground after that.

"I... release my card... for a new... user..." came the russian accent of Mr. Southlkey as he touched his card as well as it vanished before the large man finally fell to the ground in the pool of crimson liquid.

"Nooo. NOOOO!" Cerebrum screeched as he briskly ran towards Ms. Snowsbell the last one with an Elemental Tarot floating in front of her.

"I release my card... for a new user..." Ms. Snowsbell said lastly as she touched her card causing it to vanish one more. Her grey blue eyes looking are at Cerebrum, mocking him. "You... will never get... you hands on... an Elemental tarot... You never will... Never..." She said finally as the shine from her eyes slowly left her and the final breath on her lips mouth the words never once more before the woman sank down into the pool of crimson liquid.

"NOOOO! NOOOOOOO!" Cerebrum screamed at that point, as his silver eyes full go the fire of rage.

"Cerebrum." Reala snapped at that point. "What about them..." It growled looking at the other students.

"Leave them. They aren't worth anything." Cerebrum growled as he faded out of the picture then followed by Reala. Leaving the students in the void alone. Leaving just an eerie silence over the area and the rusty smell of blood across the plane. Three bodies, stained with blood, and no one could have done anything to change that.

An eerie silence dawned over the Tarot school yard. The clouds blocking out all of the sunlight that would have been there if the clouds weren't so stubborn to move. The air was stuffy and dry as the lightest of rain drops started to fall from the heavens, mooring the tragic events of the day. The rain softly pelted down against the window of the headmistress's office, though the lights were dark inside. On the desk were the same black cat and crow, so life-like though haven't moved from earlier.

Inside the office were several of the students, one Hoshi sitting on the left most couch in the room. Her eyes darkened though a soft smile stayed on her face as if trying to tell everyone else that it would be fine, though it was more trying to drive the fact home to herself.

Windy was the one next to her, the same smile plastered on her face. Hoping for it to do the same thing. That it would assure herself more than anyone else in the room.

Opposite from her was Peace, on the right most couch. Her eyes cast downwards towards some unknown spot on the floor. Her bright eyes now darkened in the sadness and grief of the events that had transpired. Her posture was small as she sat towards the left side of the couch and her knees towards her neck and chin.

On the other side of the couch was Opal, her eyes glazed over with the grief and sadness. While her eyes gazed over at some unknown spot on the other wall. The mist over her eyes only lifted as a hand gently rubbed her right shoulder as she gently turned her face. Her eyes running up the arm than had touched her, seeing one Levi. His right hand staying on her shoulder and his left hand on the top of the couch's back. His eyes were soft and kind though there were a gleam of sadness to them as well.

Sitting softy on the right side of the desk was one Izzy. Her eyes going straight for the floor. They were mixed with different emotions, sadness, grief, wonder, and a slight gleam of fear to her blue irises. Though other than that it was difficult to see what was going on in the brunette's mind.

In the right most corner of the room was Kait, her face turned towards the corner keeping her face from being seen by anyone else in the room. Though in the light provided did it shine off of the tears streaming down her cheeks. Next to her was one Yu, his eyes full of worry and grief though they sat right on Kait at that moment of time.

On the backside of the left couch was Lara, she was leaning against the couch. Her face obscured from the others in the room, so no one could see what was running through her mind or if anything had broken her emotionless facade. Nothing could be sure though Nikk was right next to her, leaning against the back of the couch. Yet, his face couldn't be seen from the current position either. Musi was on the other side of Lara, her face in a slight profile position leaving only her right eye be seen by the others in the room. The one eye slightly mixed with emotions, sadness and grief. By look, it looked like she was holding back the tears just barely enough to keep the waterworks from starting to strain down her check.

The other students had moved around at that point. Allson and Marik had left to check on Laila, to see if there was any improvement in her condition. Ushi had left to check on Pearl to see if her injuries had healed even in the slightest. While Lucieria had gone to see Fairia and Winter, to see how those two were doing now and then to try and tell them the horrible news.

The triplets had stayed in the drop area, working endlessly on the computers there. Trying to find who the cards had gone to now. Though while the worked their eyes seemed haunted as if mooring the lost of those three people, those three teachers that no were there no longer.

The rain continued to splatter against the window panel of the old headmistress's office. The silence over bearing everything else in the room. A silences that would be hard to break and if not broken would have lasted for years. Though everything has a breaking point.

"So, now what are we going to do?" Hoshi was the one to finally break through the silence.

"What do you mean?" Lara was the second one to speak, keeping her back turned to the others. "We're going to do the same thing we've been doing."

"Not that." Hoshi returned after a minute or two. "I meant about the... the... them. Without them there are going to be questions about who's running the school..."

"That is true. As without them, if people start asking questions... then..." Musi started to say at that point.

"Well then... we'll just have to make up something." Lara returned once more. "As I know I for one won't stop until that, that monstrosity Cerebrum is dead as a door nail!"

"Yeah, I agree. But we can't really do that if this place get's sh.ut down." Hoshi sighed at that point as the silence started to return once more to the room.

"Now why don't you leave that to us, meow."

All eyes in the room went to the desk at that point. Where the voice had originated from, only to see that the cat had actually moved, and its eyes op.en.ed showing one gold eye and one blue eye. The crow had actually moved as well its eyes were the same as the cat's though it was the opposite of the cat's eyes.

"Now just leave that problem to ... us. As you have something more important to focus on."

"More important? Than what!? Killing that Cerebrum bloke?" Izzy asked in a mixture of sarcasm and rage as her gaze locked on the cat and the crow.

"Well, new owner of the Sun card, it is easy to see. Cerebrum may be a problem, but he is not the source of the problem. There is more that..."

"Whow, hold it. What do you mean by new owner of the Sun card?" Izzy asked rather confused by the fact.

"It means that you are the new user of the Sun Card."

"Wait... a minute..." Lara said at that moment. "So Luciera card is now Izzy's card?"

"How is that possible!? I though the cards picked there owner and only part when the owner... well... you know..." Musi said at that point.

"That is true, user of the Moon Tarot, though an unknown force has shaken the balance of the Elemental Tarot causing this disaster to happen."

"Shaken the balance?! What does that mean?" Yu asked at that point.

"The balance between the Diabos tarot and the Elemental tarot have become unstable. Causing drastic shifts in the continuum among other events have happened as well."

"And what would happen if this 'balance' as you say continues to shift?" Nikk questioned at that point.

"If the balance continues to shift any more the world itself will be come unstable and the elemental tarot cards along with any users left will be destroyed if that happens."

"What in the world do you mean!?" Kait almost shouted at that point of the conversation. "That if the balance gets any more out of waco then we will be the ones to die?!"

"Yeah, are you sure it won't only be only the Elemental Tarot? Would the Diabos Tarot go as well?" Lara questioned as her gaze locked on the crow and the cat. "As I doubt if one side goes the other side doesn't."

"Your questions are formidable but the Diabos tarot itself is an entity of chaos. While the Elemental tarot is an entity of order. While the balance can shift between chaos and order naturally, but this shift is not natural. With this shift one side will fall and be destroyed. And by our measurements at this rate, it will be the Elemental tarot that falls."

"...Destroyed..." Opal said at that point, as almost like a squeak.

"Well, there is no way that we are not going down without a fight!" Lara exclaimed with a fury at that point.

"While your determination is refreshing, there isn't much of a chance of coming back from this fate."

"Not matter if you say its impossible we will try to change it anyways!" Nikk said easily.

"Yeah, if we just do nothing then nothing will change! And you already know Im not good at doing nothing." Hoshi spoke up at that point.

"Fine... if you wish to try and change fate you will need all the Elemental tarot. And if you are not aware of the fact you are now missing three and are one the verge of losing another."

"Well then that's our problem, fuzz for brains." Lara said with a snappy reply again. "Now if you don't mind. We have some work to do."

I know this is a long waited and it probably very short and boring but I barely had any steam to do this chapter so... So... yeah... no excuses from me...

*dances around* AAAAAAH YOU UPDATED!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY THIS MAKES ME SCAR LIKE I CANT EVEN AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
It was a great chapter, even if it was short compared to your usual chapters. But I still loved it!
