"What do you mean gone?" Alex whispered though she knew what Charlie meant she couldn't believe it.

"How could that happen?" Dawn wondered.

"Wait. Who died?!" Joel asked, frowning.

(Hey sorry I'm late just got back from a wedding.)

"Katherine was in a car crash..and she didn't survive through it," Charlie said, breaking the news to them.

"She is dead? But she was a great Surgeon and friend..." Alex said, trying very hard not to cry.

"Well this is just horrible." Dawn said, shocked.

"She is dead? I just lost the love of my life? Unbelievable..." Joel said. He was heartbroken.

Charlie frowned, feeling depressed about it. But he did feel sympathetic for Joel since he's never lost the love of his life.

( And it's okay, at least your on now )

"Sorry, Joel. She meant a lot to all of us but you two were really close." Alex said.

Dawn nodded in agreement.

"Thank you. I appreciate the sympathy. I will never forget her and I most certainly will not find another girl. She was the one I wanted to spend my life with." Joel said. He really hated the fact Katherine was dead.

Alex remembered Charlie could see things and wondered if he saw Katherine's ghost.

Charlie leaves with Joel just to see Katherine one last time, knowing he'll probably need that.
