"Well, I'm glad you did," D'ick smiled and stroke some hair from her forehead before he reached down to kiss it.


Mei swam up to the surface, even if she could see clearly beneeth it despite it being pitch black. But she knew that humans needed to stay above the surface since they couldn't hold their breath for that long.

Carter made his chin go down before she kissed his lips, wrapping her arms around his neck.


Wally came up and he flicked his wet hair out of his face, grinning. "Surprised you?" he teased.

D'ick smiled and closed his eyes, kissing her back as his arms tightened the grip around her a bit.


"Mm, a little," Mei admitted with a small smile. She still wasn't used to the way humans played around in the water. But it was pretty funny.

Carter pulled away, smiling up at him before resting her head on his chest and held her arms around him.


Wally chuckled and swam over, kissing her nose to be playful.

D'ick was just playing his fingers over her arm as they laid there for a couple of minutes. "What' you thinking of?" He asked, just curious.


Mei smiled and looked up at him before her eyebrows shifted into a slight of concern. "Is the water cold?" She asked, since it was late, and turning cooler outside. Of course she didn't get cold in the water the way she knew humans could.

"The future," Carter sighed out, smiling. "I think it's gonna be bright for us."


"Huh? Its cold?" Wally looked around him. "I can't notice. My body temperature is slightly warmer than a regular humans."

"Well this is a change. Seeing you this positive?" D'ick said, but smiling down at her. He was glad she thought so.


"Oh, so you don't get cold?" Mei asked him.

Carter pushed him playfully. "I can be positive once in a while."


"I can, but it takes a lot for me to say its cold," Wally said.

D'ick chuckled and nuzzled his face into her neck. "I know," He laughed.


"Then maybe we do have more in common," Mei smiled a little. But for her it was the other way around. Her skin was usually cool, and she couldn't stand too much heat or higher tempratures.
