What would happen if? Second Gen!!

Nathan groaned when his alarm rang 6.30 in the morning. He was defiently not a morning person, and that mixed with school just made it worse. Okay, but let's be frank, the snoring on in the room next door was much worse than him.


Maddie had just snoozed her alarm over and over again, she knew that usually made her late, but hey... why is there even a snooze button if ya can't use it?

However, at the Grayson house, everyone was awake, since their dad always made them get up earlier than everyone else on the planet. And like every morning, John was causing havoc again.

"John!" Ariel yelled, running after her brother around the little extra training room they had downstairs. It was originally a wine cellar when her parents bought it in Bludhaven, but they turned it into a gym that looked a lot alike their Grandfather's in Gotham. "Give me back my journal, right now!"

John laughed and climbed on top of the pillars by the stairs, using his acrobatic skills to get to the top. His sister was fast, but was still learning to jump to high places. "Can't catch me, Red!" he taunted, holding the book up in triumph.

Nathan got up anyway, got dressed and fixed his hair before going out in the hallway. He banked on Maddies door a few times like he always did to wake her up before going downstairs to get breakfast.

Maddie woke up a little by the thud and forced herself out of bed. She scratched her red mess of a hair and went over all her stuff in her messy room, somehow manageing to get a new shirt out f the weardrobe. She got it over her head, wrong way, but didn't noticed that, and keept her PJ-shorts on before going downstairs.

John continued to mock his little sister until he was knocked onto the ground by a shoe. "Oww..." he groaned, back aching. When he looked up, he saw his twin brother, Aiden, grabbing the journal and gave it back to Ariel. "Traitor..."

"You need to stop picking on Ariel," Aiden told his brother, his arms crossed.

"Yeah!" Ariel agreed, copying Aiden by crossing her arms. "You're just lucky Daddy is at work and Mommy is outside working on her garden. Otherwise, you'd be dead meat."

John gently stood up, rubbing his backside while muttering, "You're gonna tell anyway, you tattle tell."

Ariel's face got red as she yelled, "I'm not a tattle tell! But you need to stop being a buttface!"

"Morning dad,.. um,.. you doing alright?" Nathan asked, noticing his Mum wasn't there, probably because she had an early morning shift or something, which meant that his dad was cooking...

"I smell...." Maddie yawned as she stretched her arms.." .... something being burned?..." She mumbled.

John just flicked his brother in his nose and his sister in her forehead before running away, knowing they'd wanna kill him again.

Ariel sniffled, rubbing her eyes since she hated it whenever John was mean to her. Aiden put his arm around her and gave her a comforting squeeze.

"Don't mind him, sis. He's just angry about the test that's in Science today," Aiden said, trying to cheer his sister up. "So, c'mon, let's get something to eat, huh?"

Ariel smiled when she heard food and nodded, following her brother upstairs.


Wally dropped the pan that had recently been on fire until he dunked it into the sink. He sighed, removing the muffs he used to get it out of the oven. "I really suck at cooking..."

"No worries Dad, none worse than when Madds cook... augh! It's true," Nathan said, rubbing his arm where Maddie had punched him.

"So? You don't have to be good at cooking when you're good at eating," Maddie said, shrugging.

"That makes no sence," Nathan stated.

Wally shook his head, having a smile on his face. His kids were so like him and Jaine. "Anyway, how about just some cereal?"


When John went upstairs, he saw his dad home early from work and Ariel hugging him. He didn't seem mad and she seemed to be putting on a good show, so he guessed that she didn't tell on him.

"Sounds good enough," Nathan said, sitting down at their kitchen table.

"Yeah, .. great," Maddie yawned, sitting down next before laying down to rest her tierd head on the kitchen table.


"Hey, honey, looks like someone missed Daddy, eh?" Dick chuckled as his daughter came up hugging him after he got inside the front door.
