Wally turned, kind of amused to see her surprise tone and face. "Yeah, I am," he chuckled, going back to cooking. "It's not much, but I figured it'd be a good morning to do breakfast."

Jackie woke up by the smell of food, and really good, cooked food. At first, she thought she was dreaming, so she continued to sleep in her bed until she realized that the smell was indeed real, which alarmed her. She quickly got up, maybe a little too fast and tried to open the door, momentarily forgetting she had locked it, unlocked it, then opened the door, looking across the living room to see Jason's shadow in the kitchen. 'Is he really..?' she thought, slowly walking over to the kitchen.

Brooke suddenly felt a little bad. He was going threw all this trouble and she was planning on leaving right then and now. Frowning she decided it couldn't be that bad to stay for breakfast at least, and she was hungry.

She took her backpack off and sat it on the floor before walking over. "What are you making?" She asked, curious as she walked over.

D'ick glanced over when he heard her sneeze and saw her sit up. Ge muffled his chuckle. "Morning," He said from where he was watching over the city.

"Eggs, pancakes, and some really stale bread, but it isn't too bad with some butter I had saved up," Wally told her, smiling.

Sam, forgetting for a moment where she had spent the night, turned quickly to Di.ck, surprised when she heard his voice.
But as the memories of the previous day came back, her shoulders relaxed, and she smiled at him.
"Morning" she replied.
She rubbed her eyes a little, and held back a yawn.
"Slept well?" she asked, kindly.

It seemed that day they didn't have gas at the penthouse, but that was no problem for Jason.
As he was feeling quite happy and optimistic, his fire powers came really in handy.
He was smirking to himself as he prepared some pancakes and fried eggs. Sure, the pancakes weren't great, because he was missing some ingredients, but he was sure they'd taste fine anyways. He had already filled two glasses with milk, and had set them on the table. Overall, it was a nice and complete breakfast, even if he said so himself.

Brooke was even more suprised so. That sounded really nice. And he was willing to share his savings with her? "Wow... That's so nice of you," She admitted, smiling a little. Man, she hadn't been smiling this much for a year.

"Eh. So, so," D'ick shrugged, not going to lie but didn't want her to feel bad. "But I've had worse nights, shouldn't complain," He smiled.

"Hey, it's not every day I have a visitor," Wally smiled back at her. "And that smile is all the thanks I need. It's cute," he told her.

"Is that...actual breakfast?" Jackie asked Jason as she walked inside, seeing him se his hands to heat up the pancakes and saw milk, maybe not the freshest milk, but milk on the table.

Sam frowned a little, feeling guilty.
"Sorry" she said, putting a strand of hair behind her ear before stretching her arms. "Next time i'll sleep on the mattress" she tried joking a little, but kinda figured there wasn't going to be a next time.

Jason turned when he heard Jackie's voice. He chuckled a little before looking back at the pancakes.
"Yep. Well, if by actual you mean that it's made of real food, then yeah, it is" he replied. Once the last pancake was ready, he put it in the same dish as the others before taking that to the table.
He also put the syrup there, alongside the honey. Once everything was ready, he looked at Jackie with a wide grin on his face.
"You hungry?" he asked as he sat down.

D'ick looked at her over hos shoulder and chuckled a little. "It's fine. You seemed like you sleept well?" He commented, turning to her.

Brooke blushed a little and strolled off to hide her face. "Uh, you need help with anything?" She offered, walking around to his other side.

"I did" Sam replied, smiling at him "Thank you" she added. She knew most people would've just told her to sleep on the mattress without giving it much thought.
Or they would just have said that she should leave their home so they could sleep in peace.
Or they wouldn't even had let her get in there in the first place.
So she couldn't really express how grateful she felt. It was so odd to find someone as nice as he was. She really had to make it up to him somehow.
