There is series of books- digitalized, that if I understand right are now common source- as they were published around '20s-'30s, and that's based on that (picture style, not lessons, I was too lazy to read, but I sure need a lot of practice with a lot of things and themes...

I'm having a terrible problem with drawing/painting recently. I can't come up with anything decent, specially any decent composition. So if You are wondering why there are no new sigis- that's the reason. Hopefully the idea that the sigis represent now is ok, but the execution isn't and I can't visualize how to draw it the way I want it. That's the problem, I can't visualize any picture, any composition, or scene Sad

So I'm drawing anything, not to waste time, or give up. This is my attempt of drawing in (gothic/horror?) manga style, but as evident, there is little composition, or storytelling going on... and the element that are there where not planned in advance... Sad

I am still happy for the line- the lips and eyes particularly, that's why it's up here, and I hope You can forgive me the rant.
(BTW the pencil work above was done before the contest went into voting round.)

I hope you get inspired ASAP because youre work is so perfect! <3

And honestly, your lat two works posted are amazing if you ask me. There may be flaws as you say, but Im not quite good at pointing the small details out. Theyre amazing in my eye, so great job once again! *hugies*

Your works are still great Sal! Even when you have artist's block you'll still have an idea of something beautiful inside of you.

@Don- thank You so much Dear ^^ I hope I'll return to normal drawing/painting soon. The first pic was though not made during art-block, it's just practice.

If you still have artist's block you can just do a simple picture of outside the window Smile
