Young Justice~The Battle

"Of course. We're heroes, it's what we do," Wally told him, smiling a little. "Save people. I definitely wasn't going to let her stay in the hands of the Joker."


"So, you seem nervous. Why?" Zoe asked, going to the kitchen to get the flowers in some water.

"I know. And I appreciate your help. I know I can be a little... Closed off," Bruce admitted, knowing how he didn't even want D'ick to interfere.


"Well Um... There's something I'd like to ask you actually... I mean, if that's crash?" Bart smiled a little.

"A little?" Wally repeated. He saw his look and gulped, saying, "Never mind... B-But yeah, I'm just glad she's safe," he said.


"It's crash," Zoe giggled a little, cutting the ends off of the flowers, sticking them into the vase she had filled with water.

"Good," Bruce said, before it got scilent. He realized he had to say something. "So, um. How's the leg?" He asked.


"Hehe, okay. Good.," Bart said before clearing his throat. . "So...Um, well. Grandpa is setting up this family dinner later tonight. I was just wondering if... Maybe you wanted to come?" He had on a small smile. He wasn't sure what she was gonna say.

"Oh, uh, fine," Wally said, looking down at it. "Mostly healed up. Thank God I heal fast."


Zoe couldn't help but to look surprised when he asked her to come and eat with his family. "You want me to...eat with your family?" she asked, not meaning to sound rude, but it was just a shock,

"It's a perk," Bruce said, smiling. Not that he knew, but he bet. Flash talked about it all the time after he got indjured in a bottle say so.


"Um.. Just if you want to. I-it's an open inventation..." Bart said, not realizing he started shuffling his feet like he did when he was nervous.

"Definitely," Wally said, nodding. He then noticed it got rather quiet and he cleared his throat, getting up. "I should, uh...probably go."


"I-It's not that I don't wan too, but...your family is full of heroes, and I'm not exactly the same," Zoe said, frowning.

"Uh, yeah," Bruce stood up. "Thank you for comming," He said, and before Wally could walk away. "And Wally..." He walked up and put his hands on his shoulders. "I'm sorry if I've been hard on you. I know you'd do anything to protect my daughter." He thought for a second before deciding. "Analeigh talks a lot about you. If your not busy, maybe you should come say hi?" Mei had been strict about them not seeing eachother. This just felt like a way he could thank Wally.


"What?" D'ick asked not knowing about this. "Did you know?" He asked Stefan.

Wally had to smile. "You'd be okay with me coming over to see her?" he asked.


"I was hoping Bonnie had it wrong. Seems like the second opinion was the same," Stefan said.

"Carter could die if we tried to force the Helmet off of her like this," Zatanna said
