"Good, good. I'll show first," Wally said. He got his goggles on, positioning his feet not he skis before he pushed off, going down the not very steep hill, showing her how to stop, slow, and go.


"Yeah?" Carter stopped at a stop sign before she went on, grinning. "You the Horse Whisperer or something?" she teased.

When Mei saw he stopped and looked back she collected herself. How hard could it be, right? She wanted to learn new things, that's what made her go. She then went down the small slope, thinking it went by pretty fasteven if it didn't. However, when she was gonna stop, she kinda couldn't get her legs right on the skiis so she sat down on her bu.tt in the snow.


D'ick hushed his finger playfully. "Shh... don't blow my secret." He teased.

Wally saw her and he chuckled a little before making his way towards her, stopping and held his hand out. "That was good for the first time. But falling won't help," he said.


Carter just began to laugh before she took a turn down a road where at the end at a hill was a huge barn.

Mei blushed a little and grabbed his hand, letting him help her up. "It's just as hard as walking..." she admitted, thinking back to how imposible that was when she first started.


"So, whare you wanna go? Up the mountains, down the river, threw the woods?" D'ick asked. The landscape was beautiful all around there.

"I know," Wally said, nodding. This was all new to her, so he had to work slow. He didn't want her to get hurt. "It'll take time. Trust me, I almost got a broken leg when I tried."


"To that barn," Carter said, pointing. "They have horses there. I called them up after looking online. Said they would let us ride some of the horses."

"Broken leg?" Mei asked, getting a little worried.


"Well, can't wait," D'ick said, smiling.

"Yeah, yeah b-but don't worry, you aren't dumb enough to try and show off," Wally assured her.


"Mmhm. Gonna be a real rodeo," Carter teased, saying it in a country accent. "Yeehaw!"

"Um, well okay?" Mei smiled a little and finally got back on steady legs with his help. "Thanks."


D'ick shook his head. "You're so dorky sometimes," He chuckled, getting out of the car once she parked outside the barn.

"Welcome. Want to try that again?" Wally asked. "I'll be right next to you this time," he promised.


"Yeah, but you love me anyway," Carter pointed out, getting out of the truck.
