Young Justice, Beyond.

Carter began to sit up, taking in her surroundings. She was in the bedroom in the cabin. It was still night. She looked over over at the door to see D'ick walk over. "D'ick?" she said.

D'ick walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed, puttning his hand on top of hers. "Hey. How you feeling?"

However, Kid Flash little distraction plan didn't keep killer frost busy too long. But. Lucky as Miss Martian and Superboy had made their way there to the save.

Carter looked up at him. "D'ick, what...what happened?" she asked.


Wally was now sitting at the bottom of the de-frosted steps, rubbing his slightly freezer burnt foot and checking on Mei. "You okay?" he asked her as Miss Martian was tending to the citizens and Superboy watching Killer Frost.

D'ick sighed. "Well, it's kinda... well not really actually," He thought about it, rubbing the back of his neck before looking at her. "You flipped. Like,... you wern't yourself. And you attacked me, so... I knocked you out. Eventually." He told her.


"Yes. I'm more worried about you," Mei said, looking at him with a small frown.

"I...flipped?" Carter hugged her arms, looking down. The freaking Lazarus Pit... She thought she had overcome that. She hadn't had an attack like that in weeks. What suddenly made her flip like that?

"There was...someone...here," Carter said, remembering the show and the weird dart being shot at her, rubbing her neck.


"I'm fine. I promise," Wally said, grabbing her hand and kissing the top of it. He looked up as Miss Martian walked over, laying a hand on their shoulders.

"You two okay?" When she saw their nods, she smiled a little. "Good. The civilians are good, too. Proper authorities are on their way to check the rest. Conner has Killer Frost detained, and we'll be escorting her to Arkham in just a few. Would you both like a lift home?"

Wally looked at Mei. "Do you want to go home?"

Mei shook her head. "We just got here... I want to stay. Do more snowing?" She looked at Wally, confusing it with the term of "skiing".

Wally laughed, intertwining their fingers. "More skiing," he corrected her. He looked at the worried martian. "Yeah, we'll stay here."

Miss Martian smiled. "Alright. You two should go and rest up. We'll handle the rest of this."

"Well yeah. Scarecrow injected you with his serum." D'ick explained.


Mei smiled a little. "Thank you for the help."

"He..." Carter groaned, gripping the sheets. "I can't believe I let some crazy a.ss scientist get the drop on me!"


"You're welcome. Enjoy the rest of the vacation," Miss Martian said, getting up to help Conner.

Wally stood up, holding Mei's hand. "Lets go rest up."
