"If you say so, Estelle," Ciel said, sighing and smiled down at her until a yawn soon escaped his own lips. How late was it? Certainly, they have only been dancing for a little while. Their dancing slowed but still swayed a bit to the music.


"H-Huh?" Clara looked up, her green eyes looking dark and tired. "N-No, I want to...da..." Her head fell onto his chest and she was fully asleep, no longer able to fight it back anymore. That night was just so relaxing that she couldn't help herself to finally have a pleasant slumber. Besides, in the morning, she might not be so calm finding out she fell asleep leaning on Sebastian.

((When should we skip? ))

Sebastian chuckled a little,"I knew you'd fall asleep. Well, it looks like we must retire for the night." He signalled for Grell to stop, seeing Ciel and Estelle both tired. Since she was fully asleep, he didn't want to go to the trouble of waking her up, as he picked her up bridal style. Since she'd only be sleeping, there was no trouble in tucking her in, in the dress. He figured she could change in the morning as he made his way upstairs, as if carrying her was no problem.

Estelle stopped as soon as Grell stopped, "Wow, it seems really late."She yawned, "I'm sorry about leaning my head on your shoulder. I'm terrible when I'm tired."She apologized, looking at Clara and Sebastian,"I guess the others have been feeling rather tired as well." She said with a sigh, looking at him with tired eyes but with a small smile.

((Maybe once the girls are tucked away in bed? ^^))

Clara leaned her head on Sebastian's chest, smiling. The last time someone held her like this was when her father did when she was a child. The warm memories of him flooded her mind, but were soon replaced with warm memories of Sebastian. That slight, mysterious smile, the humor in his voice, the 'What are we going to do with you?' playful face. And how they were dancing just minutes ago, smiling and talking to one another.


Ciel slightly glared at Sebastian when he was carrying Clara up the stairs. That demon had no heart to love with, and he did not want Clara falling for a demon who would only bring her sorrow. If Sebastian hurt her, Ciel would...well....how do you punish a demon? Anyway, he just hoped that Clara was not too far in love with Sebastian for it to hurt if she finds his true nature.

"Yes, I see," Ciel said, turning his attention back to Estelle. "Do not worry about leaning on my shoulder, I don't mind. But we should get some sleep," he said, grabbing her hand. "I'll escort you to your room."

(( Otay! This is kinda cute, anyway! Sleepy Clara! XD ))

Sebastian smiled down at her, "It seem's you're slightly awake miss. I do hope you have a nice sleep after an exhausting night."He said to her, walking down the hallways. He could sense what Ciel was thinking towards him, but as a demon, he wasn't entirely emotionless, atleast not now. Right now, unknowingly, Sebastian did feel emotion. Smiling at himself, he continued his walk down the hallway.

"Sure."She replied to Ciel, with a smile. The night had been good, and Estelle secretly hoped the night could happen again. Although, the side she saw this night could only be because he was tired, and in real maybe he didn't have emotions like she did. She sighed to herself as she thought, walking with Ciel to her room, not wanting to say much in the fear she may seem too pushy.

"I'm...not asle...asleep yet..." Clara muttered, obviously on the verge of being fully asleep. His chest was so comfy and warm, but the weird thing was, she didn't hear a heartbeat. If she listened closely, she could hear the faintest thing of a heart, or maybe it was the clock he had inside his pocket. Either way, the silence of his chest was a bit alarming, but she did not let that bother her. She thought maybe her senses were dulled because how fatigued she felt.


Ciel looked over at Estelle as he continued to hold her hand and walk her to her room. "Something the matter?" he asked, reaching the top of the steps, going to her room which was the opposite direction of Clara's room. He glanced back at them, seeing them disappear around a corner before looking back at Estelle.

"You do seem rather worn out miss, so I think it is best if you retire to your bed for the night. If you wish to change,do so, miss."Sebastian said with a smile at the girl, opening the door to her room, laying her down, fluffing the duvet for her to sleep with, making sure it was passable for her, as being a butler he made sure she was in the best health.

"No, nothing."She blurted, not wanting to seem disappointed in his company."It doesn't matter than much, anyway."She said lowly, looking at her room door,"Tonight was just...nice."She left off with a hopeful smile, glancing at Ciel with a face full of hope.

"Thank you, but, Sebastian, must you always address me as 'miss'?" Clara asked, looking up at him after she was laid in the bed. He not once called her Clara, not that she remembered, but she always called him "Sebastian".

((Hey, Sky  Sorry I never replied yesterday. I got up early to drive to my Granny's to pick my mom up and take her home with us so she could spend a couple of days up here, but just an hour until we were about to leave, I slipped on some water and I broke my toe XP but I didn't go to the ER until hours later 'cause I wanted to see the fireworks with my family so my mom drove us to my aunt's and we watched some home-made fireworks with our friends and my aunt was like "Honey, your toe is broke" and I'm like "Really?" I just thought it was badly stubbed, but, yeah, we went to the ER and were in there for 3 hours until they finally gave me x-rays and said my toe was broke, so i'm wearing this boot thing and take pain medication every 6 hours))

"Indeed, it was," Ciel agreed, smiling down at her with a gentle smile. "I... I do hope to have another ball like that soon." Whoa, did he stammer and actual sound hopeful and caring? That was new.

(( Ouch! Hope you get better, that's gotta hurt! And don't worry about not replying! Wait, you drive? In the UK, we can't drive until we're 18, and only at 17 are we allowed a scooter. I'm borrowing my dad's red one when I'm 17 and get my provisional, then get a motorbike when I'm 18 if I can save up enough money. Still, hope you do get better! 4th of July does sound interesting, the fireworks sounded great! The only time you get instant service at our hospital is when you need serious help. All and all, take it easy, and watch anime XD ))

"Hm? Would you rather another name for you, your given name, Clara?"Sebastian asked,puzzled to her. He thought he was being formal, but as intriguing as she was, he didn't mind calling her Clara. He reserved Miss for her to be polite so more than the other servants, but calling her Clara could have meant they'd grown closer in aspects of their 'friendship'. He then deemed the duvet fluffy enough for a lady, gently setting it so Clara would be snug in the bed. His red eyes looked around the room curiously, before turning back to Clara with a kind smile.

Estelle nodded, hearing his stutter and blushing. He was cute when he stuttered, as she hid a pink blush as she inwardly happy-danced at the thought of the current night and Ciel being like this. "Yeah, me too..."She left off with a peach blush tinged on her cheeks and a sweet smile. She glanced at him with her teal eyes, "Another ball would be great, I actually really like dancing." She said, still looking at him.

((Thanks! And no, I can't drive, you can be 15 to get your learners and 16 to get your license, but I'm waiting until I'm 17 to get my license. And the fireworks were really nice, although he people up the street had better ones, but it was still fun. And I am XD))

Clara blushed and looked away, hiding from his gaze. "U-Um, yes," she admitted, thinking that maybe she was asking for too much. They never really were that close. They hardly talk every day and Clara did tasks that Sebastian asked her to do, but never really had a conversation like how she did with the other servants.


Ciel smiled down at her with his dark sapphire eye and didn't know that he was smiling like an idiot at the moment. "Well, we shall see," he said, his smile not faltering or leaving his face. He could see her blushing by the dim candlelight in the hallways, plus the moonlight from the windows. She looked so beautiful, almost like an angel.
