That night, Carter was describing the accident that happened back at the barn to Bruce as she Skyped him on her laptop. "A-And he made the most terrifying scream as he fell off the horse going 90 to nothing!" she laughed, hitting the cushion from laughing.

Bruce couldn't help a hearty laugh. "I seemed like I missed a lot," he said.


Back in the snowy mountains. Wally was looking out the window of his and his girlfriend's room, seeing how beautiful and mysterious the mountains looked at night. "I think it's almost more beautiful at night," he mentioned to Mei, turning.

"It wasn't like that," D'ick said, but was rubbing his sore back from earlier.


"Huh?" Mei walked over and smiled at the view. "Yes. It really is," She agreed, seeing the snowy mountains.

"It was totally like that!" Carter laughed before she looked at the screen. "And then-" Suddenly, the power went out, including her laptop. She blinked before looking over at D'ick. "Uh, what just happened?" she asked.


Wally smiled down at Mei and kissed her head. "I'm gonna be right back. I want to go look at something down in the lobby," he told her. "Gonna be okay in the room by yourself?"

"Black out?" D'ick suggested, walking away to check on the plugs. He wasn't that suprised if it was one, since after all they were on the countryside.


Mei nodded. "Yeah, I'll be fine," She assured him, smiling before looking back out over the snowy mountains.

"Oh-kay..." Carter got up, going to the kitchen to find some candles. While she did that, she didn't notice a figure slipping in through the front door of the house with the security now being off.


"Alright." Wally missed her cheek before he went downstairs.

D'ick walked down to check on the plugs, using the light from his phone to see if it was one of the plugs that broke. If not? Possibly a powercore wire going down. "This hasn't happened since the circus...." He muttered.


Mei looked after him and smiled before going over to the mirror to braid her hair in two braids.
