D'ick frowned and looked away a second before looking back at her. "I will," He promised, knowing what she meant by "stop me", and he would, however... he wouldn't kill her.

Mei looked up at him and smiled before she hugged him. "I love you too."

Carter sighed out a bit in relief. "Thank you," she whispered. She cupped his face and kissed his lips. "You going to go to sleep?" she asked, feeling wore out.

Wally hugged her back tightly, burying his face in her neck.

Mei smiled and hugged him back.
